Cover 3 shell is great to keep the box loaded. Especially if you aren’t using a 3-4 or 4-3 defense, you’re gonna want a safety in the box every play. You can always manually hot route zones and swap that safety into a flat or hook if needed

Thanks so much for this video, before watching it, playing defense used to be a source of huge frustration for me because I could read exactly what my opponent's offense was going to do based on pattern recognition, but didn't know how to manipulate my defense to stop it. After watching the video, I ended up dominating my opponent in my playoff dynasty, holding them to under 150 total yards and forcing 4 turnovers

Re: formations. If you're playing competitive online I absolutely agree. If you're playing online dynasty, however, mixing up formation spreads out the toll on wear n tear and gets more players good snaps.

Enjoyed your content, and most seems legit. But when showing some run for techniques around the 4:40ish mark, you totally sandbagged and moved force defender inside and then usered another defender to essentially block that force guy. So the next play for sure showed improvement

Check your Settings! Make sure you don't have it disabled. Then, go into practice mode on Defense vs a pass play. Make sure you're usering a Defender who's in a Coverage assignment!

Go to setting and do a delay switch small should be fine then you have time when switching to move the stick to the direction you need to keep the defender going.

I run outside to push them inside to all my players and you can tell if it’s a sweep or a handoff by the running back if he stays he’s getting the inside zone but if he runs outside to block it’s a sweep

3 items: Any thoughts on QB contain? I adjust to it almost every play on defense and if the QB even thinks about moving out of the pocket, it gets immense pressure, probably a sack. Am I losing pressure though? Does it affect my run defense? Also, with your 3rd and long segment, what about the wide open flat? I feel like open space in this game is OP and getting that 1st down isn't too difficult with space. Lastly, no speed adjustments for CB coverage? Yes it can mess up formations with a shell, but I feel like the speed of some slot and outside receivers is too much to not use the speed adjustment

you always say dont user linemen, in MUT last year in just half the season i had 70+ user ints with Lawrence Taylor usering him as LE. Bubbles, Texas, short cross, deep cross, 35 yard corner routes ..... didnt matter, once i figured out their playstyle nobody ever expected the route that looked open to get undercut by the LE...... obviously i dont mean every play tho. The more the thousands of ppl who watch the videos tell you dont do it, the more it helps ppl like us. With that said, great video.
