I don't normally care for double detent knives, but the drifter is one I would make an exception for. It's just a damn good looking knife! Thanks for the look at this one, buddy.

Love my drifters, I have a s35vn green micarta v1 and a black with blue rose cf v1 kinda like the one featured. I got the Appalachian Drifter v2 with red cf but I honestly prefer the v1. I just recently picked up the kansept knives foosa and weasel (both double detents) I absolutely love them. I also picked up the civivi stylum... I went double detent crazy 😂

Aside from a couple of dogtag style knives i have yet to find a detent slip joint that I like. A pity because the Drifter is a real looker but without a decent backspring it is not for me. I don't really 'get' detent knives and I prefer a ricasso or a kick. Those dips in the off side look like leftover bubbles or not enough resin from the casting process for the scale material, QA not doing their job.

Good to see you back :) still sound a bit rough hooe you continue to get better. I've never tried Damascus how does it hold up? Might be tempting to put a Paddy choil on this?

Ey up buddy, still loving the channel me owd cocka 👍 Could I pick your learned brain please my friend? I currently own the black edition SOG Terminus which I love and which is also my first foray intro the EDC world of knives. However, I know it's a fairly budget friendly knife and the blade doesn't hold its sharpness for very long when being used. Could you recommend some top UK legal carry knives with higher quality blade material? Any input from members would also be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone. 🙂

Heinnie Haynes has some really nice exclusive Spyderco Urbans right now. I just got the Lightweight FRN version in S30V and it's really incredible.

Hoo knives V1 is an awesome uk legal edc, however I find the Hinderer slippy hard to beat

I love my Hoo V1 too. not really impressed with this Civivi. shame im looking for one that UK legal not flipper
