This is the Civivi Crit! If you are a handyman that prefers to be prepared while looking clean cut and fresh for an evening out, the CIVIVI Crit is the knife for you! When closed, this knife is slender and easy to carry in any pocket without feeling pulled down.
The Blade is 3.18” long and is made of Nitro-V! It has a slender drop point tip and comes in a stonewash finish. This traditional style knife has a multi-tool function with a solid liner locking blade that is ideal for deep slices and can tackle any bottle opening, screw tightening, and more that unexpectedly come your way!
The Handle has several design options including Green Micarta, Natural G-10, and Black G-10. The stainless steel frame liner is sturdy and the bearing pivot makes this one of the smoothest opening multi-tools you are likely to see!

If this had more conventional flippers it would be a must buy. I've never used a front flipper and have no knife shops around me to try one. The gut hook is the big feature that sets this apart in my opinion. I use the gut hook on my Leatherman charge tti all the time for things like zip ties.

Dumb if they wanted to go different they should have put a nice saw on the other side or a wicked good diamond file

Ooooh yeah, even though I love the gut hook, a diamond file would be about equally as useful. Maybe they could diamond file coat the multitool portion keeping the hook while omitting all the other tools.

I have a pile of CIVIVi’s so I’m a fan, but most are G10. I haven’t had good luck with their micarta,, it almost immediately starts looking scuffed and almost frayed on the edges. I had to sand and stain the tan micarta on a Pintail, and return an Appalachian Drifter because the brown micarta was so bad. Of the three here I really like the looks of the green micarta, but probably will play it safe and go with the Jade G10. If anyone has the green micarta Crit please let me know how it looks to you, thanks!

from a Chinese company... Absolutely outrageous. How dare they make reasonably priced, well made knives in their own country and support capitalism. Such a shame. They should be like Cold Steel, American company having even their expensive knives and tools made in Taiwan and Africa.
