I just got one myself here in California and its my 3rd Civivi so far and they are very good, 100% impressed! I gave the Mini to my coworker because I bought the Bo and it is Nitro V but I think I will buy another Mini Praxis because it was the best one I had so far. The Odium was my 1st and the Mini Praxis is basically the same as the Odium w/o the finger hole slit but bigger. Sweet action and the cutting performance is bar none. I think D2 gets a bad wrap but that is no issue with me because I just have 2 plates a 300 and 600 I take it to sharpen it once a month and whamo!!! I "stay sharp" baby! Mini Prxis is the cats pajamas! I am gonna grab the black one next. I have a Kershaw mini Natrix Copper and its a really good cutter too! Cardboard destroyer, try it next in D2 you won't be dissapointed my man. Have fun with your Mini Praxis!

Love this little knife. The full finger choil gives you a lot more grip than expected for such a small knife when you need to bear down and cut. This was my first Civivi, too, but I am probably going to spring for an Elementum at some point. They're worth the money.

The full-size Praxis is a great one, too & the Civivi Incite, which is basically a Praxis with sculptured G10. That one looks like it could replace my Civivi Elementum. If you are concerned about dirt in ball bearings, you could get a washer type bearing system like in the Steel Will Cutjack C22. It's not quite as smooth as ball bearings, but it doesn't get bothered by dirt & lint as much.

Might have to look at that knife, next month. I don't own a civivi. I have more Ganzo and Petrified Fish of them chinese flippers. Just got a Ganzo G734 orange, looks like one of the spiderco but with better steel, 440c. You have a great day

I saw a video review of this knife and the creator complained a lot about the clip, which made me hold off from buying this knife for so long. But, after being disappointed by an Eafengrow folding knife that permanently bent the clip out of shape on the first day of EDC, I decided to take a gamble. And I love this knife. No idea why that guy was so mad about the clip; this is close to perfection for an EDC knife at this price point, in my eyes.

Good review & sharing of info. I have the mini praxis coming in today. I already have the full size praxis. Check out the Sencut Honoris. It's a good budget knife that has a lot to offer for the money. I got it in the wooden scales for $25. Subscribed...

For some reason, Civivi names most of their knives, with Greek names. Praxis is Greek word that mans act . Another that comes to mind, was called Anthropos which is another 100% Greek word, which means Human. It's like their guy who names the knives, is also Greek, because the accent is is also written perfectly and exactly as the word sounds in Greek.
