Hit the nail on the head. When you’ve been doubted your whole life, never the most athletic guy on the court, basically a walk on to Davidson, lose out ROY to Tyreke, Ellis not wanting to play with you, ankle surgery after ankle surgery, taking all the criticism for losing the 2016 finals when you’ve been doubled/tripled team the entire playoffs (we all know it was HB’s fault), taking a backseat statistically to make KD the #1 option, injury, mentoring a brand new team. Get to the top of the hill. I really don’t think people understand Steph’s greatness. Undoubtedly a top 5 top 10 player. But his leadership to keep the franchise flourishing with that many coaches and personnel turnover, his ability to make every player on the team better, he’s probably #1.

I agree. But the run has come to an end. Even though I am a KNICKS fan, overall It was good to see their accomplishments over the last 8 years, since Mark Jackson was HC. I don't say this as a disrespect in any means to The Warriors, but in honor and respect for what they've done. They have actually NOTHING else to prove, [they'll probably will never admit it right now]. They did what 'nobody' said they could do. They were actually the underdogs this season, yet they won, no KD, yet they won, injuries recoveries, yet they won. They have almost as many miles on their bodies as Lebron James does, and even more miles on their minds. They're not old, but they are older and their prime Years have now ended of the Big 3: Steph, Klay, Draymond are 34, 32, 32. They'll be a very competitive Team next year and 'nobody' will become 'everybody' when choosing the Warriors to win another chip, and they have Wiggins, Poole and Wiseman to take the baton from the vets, but those guys aren't ready to win a Championship next year. But one of the biggest reasons is that, the West at least, has been turned over to the Youth movement: Memphis, Pelicans and T'Wolves are coming, they will be better and hungrier next year.

Did you guys watch those series? Does everyone have amnesia?? KD was the best player on the warriors no question. Steph has not played great in a finals and this year he did. He deserved the finals MVP. But the criticism that he got for his finals play up to this point was also fair as well. Just because you played great one finals doesn't change his past performances. The ALL-time greats are always either the #1 or #2 best player in every series they're in. Look at MJ, LeBron, magic , Kareem, Shaq, Duncan, Durant, wilt, etc etc. That's why Steph was getting that criticism, because in those previous finals he was not, and he didn't have the same impact as he does during the regular season. Finally, someone with an emotional IQ. Thank you, CJ McCollum. The talking Heads say oh, we're just somebody voicing an opinion when in fact they're in an entertainment industry where they're holding themselves up as experts and also commenting with a bit of an attitude so of course the players are going to take it personal.
@1888.2 жыл бұрын
You didn’t watch the video did you? Literally greeny the only talking head you are accurately describing. Dom admitted his wrongdoing and Tim, a former player, is always on the players’ side

I get the argument that Greenberg is presenting. But will use what they can to give themselves an edge. Nothing wrong wit that. Jordan was one of them. The issue is when folks walk around with a chip on their shoulder for everything. That's not really the case with the Dubs. They just felt slighted from the "experts". They are just relishing their moment.

keeping receipts on actions done against you is the definition of petty.
@jeverettrulz2 жыл бұрын
@@PWCDN actually it means "of little importance or trivial" or in description of a person "undue concern for trivial matters in a small minded way". Neither of which really apply unless you want to say Perkins trashing Curry and GS was petty to begin with, as well as Jackson's "strength in numbers" tweet. Everyone praises Jordan for taking things personally but then get all over the warriors for doing the same thing. Just say you hate Golden State to begin with instead of in some backhanded kind of way.
