For those that didn’t catch the whole conversation, Steph basically said if you ask him to choose between anyone and himself he’s always gonna choose himself, but that Magic’s resume is top tier and he’s still adding to his.

I think Steph's legacy will continue to resonate more with the next generation of ballers due to how he persevered through all the doubts. Although he came from an affluent family. He was not highly recruited. Overlooked and doubted coming into the league. Then battled through a few years of injury to finally reach the mountaintop while changing the modern era of basketball. Steph was never meant to be any of this. Yet here he is. Magic on the other hand was heralded as a basketball genius coming out of highschool and college. He experienced early success and maintained it until the later part of his career. He was expected to be what he was. This is not taking away anything from Magic. He flourished and worked his ass off to achieve those accomplishments. It's just Steph's careers seem much more relatable to the masses. Same reason why Allen Iverson is so beloved to this day. He's relatable. People see parts of themselves in AI. It's the same way with Steph. Magic on the other hand maybe not so much. At least not for me. This is just my opinion.

You’ll be just listening to what this man is saying coz’ he explains discussions focused on stimulating ideas and exploring diverse perspectives in life. Jaw dropping how humble this man is. The most important thing about playing defense is effort Effort will help you a lot But you also have to know rotations Pick up on player tendencies Know how to position yourself and your footwork And you have to have discipline when know and when not to take chances on steals and blocks and know when to stay home

I know Curry isn't a "true" point guard like John Stockton type but he's a hybrid who gets the job done by taking matters into his own hands. Curry is what you get when your point guard knows how to actually shoot better than everyone on your team. So to me, he's the best point guard and Magic is close behind at #2.
