Sitting here doin some KZbin surfing and came across your video. Wanted to say that's how I did mine back in the day. Had to run the coax through the tub inside of it so it wouldn't be visible. Rubber grommet and good to go. Did that back in about 89-90. Still have her. Ran across your other video using the relays for the headlights also. Did they actually increase in brightness? if so, I may end up doing that to mine.

It does brighten them up a bit by allowing full voltage to go to the bulbs. It’s not dramatic but it is noticeable. This relay inclusion will allow you to upgrade to LEDs as well.
