Piercing the Shroud: Jim Raynor Infiltrates Hidden Dominion Lab (Starcraft 2 | Secret Mission)

The Raiders recovered secret Dominion documents during a raid on Korhal. The documents contained the location of a bio-weapons research installation orbiting Castanar, and an order to liquidate its personnel. The Raiders became suspicious of why Mengsk would give such an order, and decided to investigate. Raynor and a marine team infiltrated the facility using breaching charges to blast their way in and security codes within the documents to hack the security systems. Upon reaching the science lab they discovered a hybrid cloned several times, and other experiments being conducted on captive protoss and zerg. Raynor decided to destroy the facility by blowing up the reactor. However, the explosion released a very powerful hybrid reaver and the rebels were forced to flee as the facility began to collapse. The Raiders barely managed to escape by stealing a Dominion Hercules dropship...

What I like is that they covered their bases. If you don't do the Zeratul mission before this, Raynor won't recognize it. But then, when you do the Zeratul mission after this, Raynor recognizes it from this mission.

You can complete mission without casualties, just need more use hot keys and all will be good. On high difficulty it is better to ignore large clusters of enemies at the end, they will delay the hybrid, after the hybrid “disappears”, you can search the location where he walked before this time

Я смог пройти недавно эту миссию без потерь, вот пару советов: Рейнор - танк, его лучше первым пускать. Желательно запомнить горячие клавиши, чтобы было проще в некоторых моментах. После побега гибрида и его исчезновения га некоторое время, можно обыскать локацию по которой он ходил. Я эту идею не пробовал, но можно попробовать на втором этапе обходить скопления врагов, они задержат гибрида, это даст дополнительное время (максимальный модификатор брони (скорости) гибрида -0,86 на уровне сложности "эксперт", на английском это наверное "брутал"). Кто будет проходить, желаю удачи ;)

I always wondered why would Mengsk deal with the hybrid in the first place? Surely he wasn't working with tal'darim or Amon at all. He seemed at most that he just a xenophobic megalomaniac. Sure maybe he wanted to fight against Amon and his hybrids his own way but it just doesn't add up at all compared to how he was in Brood War. He doesn't even seem to know about any other protoss either. There just isn't enough to explain the Dominion holding a hybrid at all.

Narud was helping the dominion research hybrids as they could control and subjugate the swarm and then use them as a weapon also the hybrids were powerful weapons against the protoss mengsk was led to believe he could control them by narud who lied to him
