And it was just the work of one cerebrate that was hit with dat free will and as a result basically became Abathur the (apparently) Superior, taking up great interest in splicing genes and human essence. ...They could've been the bestest of buddies if Kerrigan didn't feel the need to 'sterminate all cerebrates and replace them with mobile, dumbed down micro-cerebrates. I mean, _that_ one wasn't her kill, but there still could've been more Abathurs the Superiors.

Fascinating to consider as well, the overmind maintained control via the promise of eternal life to the cerebrates, but The queen of blades only starts to push her queens to become as dangerous as possible with the possible threat of amon. Perhaps as these queens fight amongst themselves they will drive themselves ever further into these fields and eventually more Stukovs will be created. It is also fascinating to consider the difference in experience between the Overmind and the queen of blades, do we actually know how old the overmind was?

@@thundersoul6795 Actually, there is no "Abathur the Superior". Abathur's supposedly a unique Zerg. Aside from the Cerebrates, only Abathur was directly created by the Overmind. Literally no one else like him. But unlike the Cerebrates who controlled broods of different zerg species. Abathur was technically both a Cerebrate and a Brood all on his own, and contained all Zerg DNA currently active within the Swarm. He is a living genetic library. He could potentially mutate himself to anything he wanted without much work. As we all know he's directly responsible for the previous iterration if the Queen of Blades. Anyway Cerebrate Kaloth's infestation of Stukov was reversed. He was cured by Raynor. Until Narud re-infested him. Even Abathur says it's not possible for a Zerg to splice that small. Meaning only someone who isn't a Zerg can do it. Besides, all Cerebrates would have died out anyway, even if there was no Protoss or Kerrigan intervention. Seeing as they could not survive for long without an Overmind sustaining them. TL;DR There is not such thing in the lore ressembling something "Abathur the Superior" seeing as Kaloth's work was reversed and completely remodelled by Narud. Abathur was referring to Narud when he said it was impossible for him to splice genes on that small of a scale. Edit: Besides both Abathur and Kaloth were active during the events of SC1. No Cerebrate could splice genetic material as good as Abathur could, since that was his litreral purpose. The core genetic templates they recieved from Abathur, they can't change but only modify. Like putting a hood mounted gun to a car; the Cerebrates put the gun on the hood, but they didn't make the car, because Abathur did.

@@isaacrobinson9911 What he said was bullshit. There won't be any more Stukovs as there are no more Hybrids with the will of Amon, like Narud. Only Hybrids could create creatures like Stukov, as Abathur stated it's literally impossible for any Zerg to splice in a micro scale. The way it worked in the Old Swarm was Abathur acquired a creature's genetic template. He integrated it to Zerg standards then gave out the new Core Template to the Cerebrates. The Cerebrates would then add their own specific favorite modifications to those Templates to their own production lines (which led to the creation of strains like Daggoth's Hunter Killer, or Auza's Eats the Fallen). Kaloth was a freak accident of a Cerebrate that broke away after the Overmind died. Abathur's old Infested Terrans exploded, simply because he had no use for Terran DNA, since as he said, it was impossible to make real lasting use of it but it was convenient for the Zerg to have exploding kamikaze soldiers that made no real damage to the numbers of their actual fighting force, so that's exactly what he did. Edit: Oh right, the Overmind was almost as old as Zerus, but older than Zurvan the Ancient One, who is supposedly millions of years old. Zurvan literally said he saw Amon create the Overmind from the amalgamated essence and corpses of his contemporaries. The Zerg were a very young species when Amon found them.

Youre right I hate when games/films/books have that easy nonsenses in them Like odyn attacking whole dominium base... Every forces stay in they places "because they need time to comunicate that giant thor is attacking one of theyr most important base" i love rts's from blizzard but i dont like when for example in WC3 "you cant summon the owl in the cave because the owl cant fly in caves" and than i see dragons in cave... They can just make it a litlle different and it will be fine

@@kiloklavdi1185 nah mate, you gotta use them for attack instead of defense. Take the upgrade that lets them burrow tele to anywhere that has creep. When they do that they also spread creep themselves. So you can literally have them go to the edge of creep, they'll spread more, then have them go there again, endlessly. Give their things the ability to attack both ground and sky and make 20-30, you have an army of mushrooms that spawn drones of death that slowly cover the map in creep.

Once the tyranids learn of the lemon juice allergy the swarm is done for. Otherwise the Zerg swarm one up the tyranids with their impressive regeneration. Of course once one side eats one of the other side then all chaos breaks loose.

The explanation is actually correct. Since they adapt to their enemies they would integrate the strenghts of the other race until they both evolve into neither Zerg nor Tyranids, but a new race. Zyranids. Or Terg.

A good combo I'd use is swarm hosts to defend an area (with mutation that allowed burrowing all the way) supported by impalers. While the locusts dealt with infantry and light vehicles, the impalers would handle the bigger units like siege tanks and thors

Would be great if she stayed that way, because what you said is a good description of her from Brood Wars. Here, she acts like a spoiled brat and her motivation is revenge against Megsk, but we are somehow to symphatise with her. She has entire planets and their populations overran by Zerg for her hateboner on that old asshole. I am surprised Jim didn't shoot her in the head once he learned of it. But i guess sparing a few people in Augustgrad during her final push somehow shows she is ok, nevermind the who knows how many people killed or worst, whos only sin was living on a strategically important place.
