Great video again, guys - thanks! It's nice to finally watch a video about Wellington City, and nice to put footage to the name,lol! Wellington seems quite a lively city. Calburn Gardens reminds me of the Abbey Gardens on Tresco, Scilly Isles.

Thanks Angus! Wellington has a lot going for it in terms of nature and adventure. There’s a big creative scene here as well which we are yet to tap into! We didn’t quite make it to the Isles of Scilly so can’t comment on that, but if it’s anything like the Botanic Gardens then sign us up! 🤣

Went to NZ 2001 March. Went all over. Tepapa was my research project, nature and culture - maori v and Pakeha encounters. Social anthropologt study. Oh how I miss my first visit Downunder. Fell in love with treeferns and the exotic by being so far from home. JETLAGGED. Much missed

Yes, all in a day's work 😮‍💨 though it's not a big city! Our friend actually stayed in a hostel that was really great and it's very centrally located just off of Cuba St. You should check it out, it's called - The Marion Hostel

@@TechnoMonkeyFarm yes, we picked it up in Thailand and it’s been our main camera ever since! So discrete. Never used ProRes in iPhone. But occasionally we will include footage from the iPhones 5x telephoto camera 😊

1:26 I'm pretty sure there's usually a sign right next to that platform that says don't jump into the water here because it's full of poos, but like nobody ever pays any attention to it so they literally leap at the opportunity to swim in shit. Maybe it wasn't there at the time you were there because the levels were "safe", but I still wouldn't trust it. 😅🤢

Sadly you didn't go to the best view in wellington..Wrights hill road...Mt vic is not ok..I dislike the drive and view of people homes in view..especially so.e of the run down ones..you have to have a car and it's confusing...I know my partner feel in love with wellington seeing the beauty of wright's Hill and its amazing sun set from all wellington 360 and alot higher..but anyways that's just me the dad of Jessica. .we live in karori..Zealandia...Wilson bush..wainui lookout Is amazing also compared to that vic thing..tourist trap..for someone from wellington..these are basic spots..nothing special and I am from wellington...

Wrights hill is now on our bucket list for Wellington, well done you’ve sold it to us!! 👏🏼 but I don’t think Mt Vic is a tourist trap. It’s very close to the city, beautiful bush walks and 360 degree views! We also plan to visit Zealandia when we are back in Wellington, and to do some of the walks through Wilton and Otari 😁 thanks for all your local tips! ❤️
