Does this negatively affect the transmission pressure ?

Talk about reduced airflow through the radiator with both of those coolers. Did the install on the cooler in line going into the radiator or the egress line from the radiator? How do you tell the difference from looking at the lines?

Radiators of this description are universal so it doesn’t matter what hole you put it in 😉

so you stack a hot cooler in front of a radiator and block a bit of airflow.. how does it make any ssense?

I have a 06 TJ and I’m doing basically the same thing but with a manual trans and a new mishimoto radiator. Will there be any difference in mounting? And where can I get the mounting brackets? And will an oil cooler work as a trans cooler?

You have a Manual Transmission, you don't need a cooler.

There will be a little that may leak out but you still have to add approximately a quart of transmission fluid to make up for the cooler.

Up until 2011, jeep still used the worst automatic that's ever been put in a 4wd vehicle...the 42re, which is extremely prone to overheating. Starting in 2012, they went to a much better transmission.

If you're going to be doing any offloading or especially towing, an auxiliary transmission cooler is still a great idea, regardless of which automatic you have.

Question? what happens if the grill cant be removed? Do I need to take off my bar if thats the case? I can't lean the grill forward to get the bottom clips out as the bar and winch are too close. What is the normal operating temp for the transmission oil? I cant find that info anywhere?

I think anything over 200 is less than ideal. I think anything over 210 and you’re starting to do damage. 160-180 is about where mine stays in the Florida heat, running nitto 34” diameter tires with the 4.11 gear ratio, in stop and go traffic.
