I have a 15 S550 GT with 6-speed manual. When I take off, something bumps between my armrest and my cup holder in the driveshaft tunnel. Will this kit take care of the issue for me or do I need something else? Thanks for all of the informative videos that you guys provide.

This is aluminium going onto steel. Nothing said about dissimilar metal corrosion. I give these about 3-5 years tops before they start to corrode. Not to mention the loads that pass through it which will put more stress on it. I would only buy this product if it was the same material.

Could I just paint them with cerakote and they would last longer?

After googling that process, it does seem that if the item does not have any anodising on it cerakote would be an excellent substitute. This would create a barrier between both metals therefore removing the dissimilar metal problem.

I do not understand how this would make a difference. They are both solid objects, unless the stock one bends?

The factory piece will flex too much causing hop, this is a much more solid mount.

Nope.. Doesn't look like it'll work with that, there's no hole. It seems the steeda subframe is a better solution overall

It doesn't. Bmr locks out and bmr irs brace no wheel hop even with the pzeros
