Damn, no matter what; you cant get the same sounds skratching Hamster vs Regular. After skratching for 20 yrs, I'm thinking about learning how to Skratch regular. I secretly covet its sound.

I'm a 20 year hamster scratcher.. I'm curious, did you make the move to regular and if so how is it going? Did it mess up your normal hamster scratching in any way?

Nice Video, thanks for sharing. And finally someone says, “it’s in the Wrist”..!! I watch a variety of DJ Videos about Scratching. And there is ALWAYS ONE MINOR but VERY MAJOR DETAIL that ISN’T SAID or HIGHLIGHTED A LITTLE MORE. “Yeah click it this way or that way”, but what no one says “work your wrist this way”. 🙏

I cant get that pinch for the life of me. I can twiddle and crab but open fader is so difficult for me at least

Hey Cj I commented on your other 2 click video about the journey to lock it in, this is why conclusion so far anyone reading please put me straight if I don't understand the concept... the thumb motion feels like sweeping from thumb consciously, until going into d time you almost start to feel like it's getting snapped back with the fingers when you get into that fast pace, maybe the thumb just becomes so locked in you barely notice the thumb playing a role anymore and the fingers become way more needed to flutter that motion and the thumb's just there to swing back in the sweep from the open position, trips me out I can feel the thumb activating the orbit when doing slow to medium but when burst into d time feels more like fingers doing the double flutter become more the conscious motion, still on the grind trying to hold it together before flying into bits, had no idea how mind bending itis to keep that ghost click tight and engaging with the fast scribble all in a tiny space to keep up that fast yielding pattern uhhhh too anyone learning it good luck don't give up won't be earned easily,

its a tricky scratch to learn but as you speed up it becomes more about feel.. your thumb and fingers will move in a push pull/ motion it really comes down to repetition and muscle memory ... feel free to hit me up on facebook messenger anytime and i can give you more pointers ....

the two finger method is the "twiddle" BTW ;)
@CJScratch7 жыл бұрын
the twiddle is actually tapping the fader with two fingers ... this is a crab motion rubbing your finger across and through...
