Now this is a song I more associate with Italy. Funiculi Funicula is a nice bouncy song that makes you happy. Whereas this song has that Italian feel to it that you can't deny. The AMV itself is good at showing what makes Italy Italy, its ancient and decorated architecture, the more homely rural feel that you associate with Europe with he large ancient cities that have stood the test of time.

I've played Japan's very old PS2 games featuring Italy like "bitter sweet fools" and "Elysion eternal sanctuary" and the latter one "Elysion: Eien no Sanctuary" was my favourite and it's a masterpiece even not having so splendid wide-italy visual in it thou . It's a shame if that does not have a translated version.

Anche l'Italia non sta facendo male, grazie al UNESCO abbiamo tantissimi siti storici protetti. Il liberismo serve per arricchirsi e far migliorare l'economia, il popolo e la cultura sono altre cose, puoi dire che per via del liberismo stiamo subendo l'influenza di altre culture come il cinema americano ma io credo ci apri soltanto nuovi orizzonti, mica si può vivere per sempre solo di italianità

il video è un atto d'amore all'italia e agli italiani, ho scelto la tarantella perchè è una canzone rappresentativa anche all'estero ed esprime bene la nostra natura come popolo. L'origine c'entra solo fino ad un certo punto. Ad onor del vero ho cercato di inserire anche immagini di napoli, ma le uniche decenti che ho trovato venivano dalle serie di Lupin, e per problemi di copytight ho preferito evitare di metterle.
