About anky - its not wandering but it is tribemate riding it and hitting the nodes that are near. If don't belive me, pick up anky who is wandering with argy, quetz or wywern and fly nearby rocks or metal nodes. It will not hit/harvest the nodes like doedics do.😉

I remember back before the flier nerf, I used to breed Wyvern Killer Quetzals. Had a hard stand against tamed wyverns, but on wilds, you could clear the chasm in Scorch with ease.

Honestly I enjoy using the tape, having his quick speed that can move and land on a dime, cling onto sides of cliffs, hop onto it's back seat (with a friend to fly it for me) and shooting down on something like a bear with tranq darts is really good and helpful, not saying it's better than an agry, just saying it's alit more useful than most say it is, and it kinda sucks no one thinks of them, maybe because they're so rare

A lot of people underestimate how useful a pelagornis can be, but when you gotta transport a lot of metal for a big trade across the oceans of the center, it can be useful to have one of these guys to fly on while your argys follow, that way you don't get dismounted on the ocean for losing stamina.

Pelagornis is my favorite bird around the water (esp like Valguero): 1) Safe water landings away from all the predators 2) Can tank a few shark bites while regenning stamina 2) Kill and harvest can be used against fish in water, one-shotting them for 10x damage and gathering huge amounts of meat in short order. You ever need to restock on food, just find a nearby lake, stab the water a few times, and you'll harvest like 10 fish at a time.

I love my griffin. Took practice with the dive attacks but now I'm an almost pro. I love seeing large groups of pelagornis and fly down for boost, level off, then slash my way through for roughly 1000 damage per bird per attack. Or see a group of dinos attacking another group of dinos and just dive bomb and kill them all

Too bad you didn't mention the ability to use your weapons on the back of a Griffin while still being able to fly. Besides the speed boost one of the primairy reasons to use a Griffin. Also the beak grabbing ability of the Argentavis was missed. I'm sorry to say that you normally seem to be quite in details but this vid seems kinda rushed. That being said, I do enjoy your other stuff.

The Phoenix drops silica pearls, it cooks the food in its inventory, it can make gas in its inventory, it can harvest metal and cook it in its inventory, and it's faster than the wyvern at full speed. I feel like the phoniex should have been right next to the phoniex to be honest

Quetz is funny because it has a "weight" limit my friend and I were moving base to the desert temple on ragnarok and while shipping our tames I had him load 3 rexes on its back and after getting elevation I tried flying level and realized we were losing that elevation fast I had taken us almost to the overhead world border at the mountain across from it and we were crashing into the side of the bottom platform by the time we reached the temple while flying straight ahead. But I discovered the limit is 1 rex any more you'll slowly drop increasing in speed based on how many you add

Apparently these guys dont do big online raids. A war quetz with a proper built platform is a beast. I personally would switch it from 1 to 2 with the wyv. You can build a box around the seat making it almost impossible to pick or stop you (unless hit by a reaper tail poision) either these guys are in small tribes or just dont get it.

The Ichtyornis doens't bug out, but you have to actually aim it at the target that you want him to hunt. Easiest way is holding up a crossbow for instance, if you have the crosshair enabled, and then aiming at the fish, before you press F x2. He didn't not find any prey or bug out in this video, but you just threw him towards nothing. Otherwise, I LOVE your videos! Keep up the awesome work.

I love Griffins so much. Not only are they a good source of transportation but they are generally fun animals. I remember playing ARK with my brother and he would sometimes find me missing because I was out flying my Griffin on a joyride. The best thing you can do is make a tame resourceful and fun

Re the ichthyornis hunting and retrieving, you have to target what you want it to attack with the crosshair and then throw it. I have crosshair disabled, but the telescope or weapon sights also works. They one-shot fish very well (get a perch looking down into the water) and will kill dodos pretty well (although if the dodo has too many hps, they'll return without it. Just pop high-level dodos until they're bloody to help the bird out). The prime fish is the best benefit imo, but prime meat is handy too. Also, plug for a mod for unofficial PC servers - Ichthyornis No-Steal mod turns them into just annoying birds that dont want you near them. MUCH better.

Tapejara are BEAUTIFUL ♡ they're OP af. Super fast and agile. Also love argies, my go-to berd ♡ Pters are annoying to land lol they tend to go go flap crazy 🤣 but also are beautiful to colour. Snow owls are gorgeous and I love how they fly like real owls but they're a bit clunky. Wyverns. They are amaaaaazing. Quetz are funny :p tek quetz are gorgeous.

ICHTHYORNIS IS NOT BUGGED! YOU AIM IT AT THE FISH! You're only getting it sometimes because sometimes you accidentally aim it at the fish. When you're using it on players I'm guessing that you're actually aiming it at the players or relying on it attacking your target/attacker. Why doesn't anyone know how to properly use them? If you want it to just go on a search and destroy mission, you set it to "wander" and "aggressive" and it will harvest beautifully, but then you don't get prime and like all preds it will eat some of its catch. You can also get prime meat from small land dinos like dodos and compys by aiming it at them. This bird is SO MUCH MORE USEFUL than you realize! Not Bugged! Prime from small, common dinos isn't worth such an easy tame? Just bolo one that's on the ground and knock it out! And for the argent, why didn't you just swoop down, snatch up the dilos with your beak, and kill / eat them while on the wing?

I know the managamr (idk how to spell it) isn't technically a flying creature, but I feel like he's a very good tame to get bc of his ice breath to freeze other Dinos, his walking speed, and his jump/dive bomb ability. The only downside is that you need a lot of stamina

You should've put the Griffin higher on the list because 1: It is one of the fastest flyers in the game because of it's glide ability 2: You didn't mention you can keep your momentum with a glide attack (Meaning you can glide swipe if you get close enough but don't hit into a dino) and with this you can easily clear out every single wyvern in the wyvern caves with ease solo Fun fact: I've also solo killed a titanosaur with a Griffin, Griffins are powerful.

The ichthy isn't buggy. You just have to point him at a prey you want and he'll go for it. Using a bow or longneck or anything with crosshairs will work. He also hunts on land for prime meat....

I agree with number 1 because there is a weird glitch where anything you grab can't attack the quetz the only thing I don't really agree with is the taming platform it was my idea at first but now I have this glitch I don't need it anymore.
