@@velvetbutterfly basically they battle each other after every gym one pokemon each The battle counts to the nuzelocke so if, for example, Smant uses a bulbasuar and CJ uses a Smeargle, and Cj wins then Bulbasaur is dead like it would be in a regular nuzelocke

cjya, these kinds of videos you do are amazing to watch. Imagine if you and one of your speedrunner friends did something like a Soul Link Mario Odyssey. This is how its rules go: First, both players choose a percentage to complete; but one of the two has to choose 100%. Second, neither player must stay in the current kingdom they are in and cannot until the 100% player gathered all the available moons at the moment - painting portals to get a certain moon in other kingdoms are allowed when the 100% player's objective is incomplete - and both are in agreement to head to another kingdom. Third, if one player dies in a kingdom, both of you gotta restart the kingdom to before you got the moons. Finally, both players have to start the fight with the bosses at the same time; but you don't need to beat it at the same time as well.
