As much as I love Frank's versatility we need a pg whose steadily going to attack the paint and keep defenses off balance. With Porzingis out it's vital that we keep our scoring pace up. Hopefully Porzingis is back by Christmas time, because that's what he's projected to be back by, according to the beat writers here in NYC.

Im big on Frank and his potential, however, i believe Burke deserves the nod he has been putting in work and without KP they need as much firepower as they can get. His game is really entertaining to watch its almost iverson-esque and his jumper is silk. Whether hes long term the starter or 6th man i feel hes going to be key to this team and theyd be dumb to let him go.

Nice video.. key omissions. Okc wanted to sign him and he turned them down first. You didn't mention his career high 43 and 10+ assist in Charlotte. Trey deserves to start. He has a renewed vigor and he wants it in NYC. Frank won't just get better playing more minutes.. it don't work like that. I like him at the 2 alongside Burke for defensive purposes. Good video! I still think Frank should start with Trey coming off the bench as an offensive spark and at times playing with Frank in a position less offensive attack. I think it will be important to have good defensive wing players to set the tone especially without KP to help defend the middle and a developing Knox. THJ is still an average defender so with Trey they will have a porous wing defense putting more pressure on the bigs (Kanter) and will be falling behind early in games. Trey will have Robinson a great shot blocker coming off the bench with Trey.

If Fiz can improve his D enough for him to be a passable starter, then Fiz is such a wizard that we have nothing to worry about no matter what lol. But I'm still skeptical. Frank is a work in progress despite the promising signs he's shown, but he's already a high end defender who got everyone involved. With THJ, Kanter & Knox (or Hezonja) almost certain to be in the starting lineup, we need guys around them who can cover defensively & who don't require high usage...which is why I'm pretty confident that Frank & Lance are going to start this season. Plus we have to remember with Trey, that last season he came on late, when some teams had already packed it in for the playoffs or offseason, he had a small sample size, and he relied on hitting long 2s at an extremely high rate...and there's a reason why teams will give you those shots all day long.

C'mon ck, ntilikina thj Knox kanter Robinson needs to be the starting 5 and when kp gets back kanter goes to the bench. We need to develop these young players who are the future of this team and Robinson needs to get as much run as possible which means kp needs to settle at the 4 and Knox at the 3. I love burke but if thj is going to start then he needs to come off the bench. I wouldnt mind a burke and Frank backcourt though with Thj as a 6th man but I doubt they start the szn with him on the bench because of his contract. Great Vid as always, I appreaciate Burke so much more but still feel the same way about him. My issues with Burke is yes I understand that he is better than Frank at this point in his career but why give Burke any major minutes with the team because even though he was putting up numbers we still weren't winning, if we pursuing Kyrie why let Burke play when you can develop Frank to play next to him and in the event we do get a Kyrie, Burke will leave because we can't afford him. If Kyrie doesn't come and Burke has a great season we either will have to overpay to keep him or another PG needy team will overpay for him and when he leaves we will all be scratching our head wondering why we didn't focus on developing Frank more. I mean we not winning with who we start at PG anyways so just start Frank and let him develop, either way I wish Burke nothing but the best.
