David wilson was a waste of a pick fumbled everyball then got hurt and retired... So I can't think fondly of his short fumble plagued career and wonder what if... He was one of many horrible 1st round picks that ultimately led to the firing of Tom...another one of resses's day 1 bust. Please dont mention him and Cruz In the same breath

David Wilson couldn't pass block. You can't be an NFL RB without being able to pass block.

A legend that could have been an all-time great, without him there's no superbowl. Came out of nowhere to be a top-five receiver in 2011 alongside Nicks who himself was probably top-ten at least. Amazing season, big plays, clutch catches, the salsa and the come from nowhere story we love here in New York. I'll never forget Victor Cruz and want to thank him for the amazing years he gave us.

Here was my comment about that. And yet to create some cap space for the next season, the greedy ass Giants let him go. Don't believe the bullshit about Cruz loosing a step when he came back. He pick up where he left off. But then I noticed Eli looking him off on quite a few plays as the season went on. I knew then, the money hungry origination Giants were going to let him go. His stats didn't go down. The Giants integrity did. I will always be a Giant fan. But I will always hate them for what they did to this Giant icon. Thank you Victor for your passion, your play, your love for the team and it's fans. And more importantly, the joy you brought to the NYG's organization.

Cruz did more than replace S. Smith. He became better than Smith. For a guy than ran a 4.47, he sure looked more like 4.37 WR; he had a bursting acceleration. Dude was shifty like a slot & ran hard like a RB with good hands (up until 2014). How Cruz didn’t make the 2011 Pro Bowl is beyond me. Having said that, Cruz regressed in 2014, the yr of his injury. Dude was leading the league in dropped passes (6). It was down hill from there. Nonetheless, he was a solid GIANTS WR for three years & wish him the best on his future endeavors.

I've watched this vid like 10 times. It still kills me that he's not a Giant anymore. He was held back in 2016. It was his first year back from injury and he still had almost 600 yds receiving. There are starting WRs in the NFL averaging less than that per season.
