@TheJoker1904 I disagree. Didn't the reports say it has been selling well? And now this new update is being highly praised with spreading positive reviews on just the beta alone. If they end up releasing the entire Plus library also turning this into a portable PS3 with the updated monthly games constantly getting added, the easy streamlined usage, and its cheap...It looks like a pretty dangerous competitor on the handheld market to me. I think Nintendo will be fine but the others not so much. I wasn't even aware that their cloud tech had gotten this good. This update came out of nowhere

This is great news. I've just bought this today for my son for Christmas. I didn't know they were putting out a new update today so he can play games without he's ps5. It also fixed the frame pacing (59.94hz vs 60.00hz) microstutter fyi. This issue kept a lot of people from buying portal, and caused a lot of people to return it. That issue is now gone.

I noticed little difference in graphics when playing from console vs cloud. I played disco elysium and brightness was different. Maybe it's hdr or something else? I know portal doesnt support it but when it comes from console it takes some settings from your console or tv and when it is directly from cloud some settings are different? It's worth checking.

If you do not own it, then you are (NOT REQUIRED) given the choice to pay the additional subscription to access streamable games to your handheld. Before you continue: Yes, Steam Deck.... Blah blah. Yes, Asus Rog..... Yes, other streaming device..... But none of those can achieve the seamless quality of the ps5. ecosystem.

It's 90% what we wanted. It's still in beta. I want to stream digital games that I already bought through the PS store. Then it will be 100% for me. I haven't purchased one just because the value wasn't there for me. The PS remote play app can do the same without the dual sense features. Now it's more of a standalone device, I am about to get one.

Man if they release a portal pro and make it be like the dual sense edge controller, that would be my dream come true. I love my portal but I’m so used to playing with paddles that I can’t usually get the same satisfaction without them.

About WiFi on PlayStation PRO you was WRONG! Go on your network and push small button in middle of controller beside ⬜ square and triangle so you have options 5-6 G or automatic, your is automatically and that's problem 🙂

@ I contacted PlayStation and they said just the ps catalog which is a bummer because most of my games aren’t on there. I tried asking if it would be a feature down the line but he wouldn’t give me a complete answer

Man, this is dope as hell! This could be the best handheld device for gaming with a few quality updates and additions to the PlayStation Premium subscription. I can see them raising the price for Premium, but if they add previous generation games I think it will be worth it. I've been playing older games lately as they have been more appealing than the newer stuff releasing. I'm glad I bought one, my Portal is my preferred way to play anymore.
