I bought this 3 weeks ago. Frankly speaking I was blown away by the feel of this racket. It took me some time to adjust to this racket hitting and timing because I was using auraspeed before. But man it totally felt awesome with exbolt 65 strings at 28 tension and I am glad I made this change.. mine is 4u version.. I am a regular follower of your videos and was waiting for this review but bought it before u published 😂

ax100 takes less time to get used to, but they are very similar in every spec. Ryuga 2 is mid. If you play singles, 100zz 3u is the easiest to play with, and it has a similar swing weight as 4u ax100. Ryuga 1 is the heaviest but has the best power.

love your review as usual ck. what i feel from this racquet is it can generate more power but heavier swing speed and swing weight compare with the ax90 tiger version. a positive point for me indeed. and yes i do agree with you that this racquet indeed physically demanding so we need more brute strength and fitness power to maximize this racquet.

Ohh swing weight is testing is goooddd.. I didn't realise that existed. I use handle thickness to adjust swing weight for years. Not only does it changes the BP, it also changes the 'stiffness' feeling. If I need something stiffer I tend to wrap smaller. If I need girth (to grip) but not 'thickness' (for BP) I fold the 1/4 of the overwrap tape to make it ribbed texture. Welcome any other tips/tricks you find on your journey! ❤ Edit: I've tried also stretching grips on wrapping with mild success. I tend to use thinnest overwrap possible (0.5-0.6mm) and one layer of the foam wrap for grip to racket/cushion.

I had recently tested the 90's Tiger and Dragon. Was honestly disapponting with both - Tiger seems to lack power (even with Exbolt 65 strings) when comes to smashes, while Dragon struggles on the drives part (on Ultimax 66). Would you say the 100 Kirin fixes both the issues?

Nope..a game or two with a new racket feels different..producing the best shots with dynamic movement during games is the key to win matches.. It's only after 3-4 weeks of continuous play one can understand the racket's behaviour during matches.. Long story short Axforce 90 max dragon and it's successor are more or less the same - head heavier, stiffer and less maneuverable. Yonex 100zz is just on a different level..sorry to say this but Axforce 90 & 100 are clones with inferior traits.

Yonex 100zz is the best stiff shaft racket..with some considerable time and consistent effort 100zz plays really well & of course it's demanding.. Axforce 90 & 100 are a remake of the 100zz with heavier head and they are way more demanding & difficult to play with.. I have played with all of them..believe me 100zz is the one with the right weight, maneuverability n power though it's heavy on the shoulder.

depends on what string you use and who strings it, if you want a lasting string at that tension, I would suggest going for thicker strings. and to answer why do professional stringer matter is because the feel and durability of the string will change as they have different stringing technique,knots,and etc and all of this will differ the string. sir Ck, I just have my Lining Axforce 100, it doesn't have logo on the grommets but I checked the aunthentication code and it scans in Lining website perfectly and says authentic, how?

Hi mate did you end up finding out why yours didn't have the lining logo on the grommets? I just bought mine too and it too doesn't have the logo on the grommets.

Hi CK, I am an intermediate player starting badminton after a 6-year pause. I have problems in creating power to make rear to rear clears or backhand clears in a match. I always wanted to purchase the Astrox 66 but it is discontinued. Do you have a recommendation for me?
@ammarharith5512
@ammarharith5512 Жыл бұрын
Why not try the Astrox 77? Get the Pro one while you're at it. It's one of the most accessible racquets if not the easiest one to handle.

@@CKYew I have purchased an Astrox 88D play before reading your recommendations because I loved your reviews about it. Sadly I do not think it is the perfect fit for me, I cannot generate enough power with it:(. I am thinking about changing the tension so maybe it helps? Thank you for the recommendations, I will buy one of these rackets you mentioned if I could not adjust the 88D play to my needs.

@@zhangshengfan8624 yes, but not for beginners, i need around 8 sessions or 2 months to fully understand this racket, and especially for smashing, it demands arm power and a precise timing Once you get the hang of it, its a solid racket, no doubt
