@@saavage321 It's mostly because YG is a misogynistic jackass who tossed CL and her entire band to the side once he felt they were 'past their prime' and wouldn't 'pull in any cash'. He got bored of them and had a side project in the works since 20-goddamn-12 (we all know it as Blackpink). Unfortunately, not only is he a sexist, he's also a really bad gambler; with the money that's supposed to be for his idols' tours. That's *also* why his company is in the red, and probably resigned from his CEO position. Ordinarily he would be able to release something from his idols to get any bad attention off of him, but most consumers are smarter than that and checked out from the YG Dungeon before they could be chained to the wall. With that avenue blocked, he had no choice but to resign to save his reputation (what's left of it anyways). But he isn't by any means out of the company, he still has people inside that he trusts that do his bidding for him, which is probably why it still sucks. As far as I'm aware, Dara's contract still isn't finished, but I'm waiting for it to be so she can be free too. Bottom line is that YG sucks, Yan Hyun Suk sucks, and the entire company is going to go down in flames because of him.

She made it very public that YG wasn’t putting out her music. I remember Dave Meyers the director of this video even commented under CL posting of this song. He wanted to know what happen to the promotion of this song and he said they had filmed that video a long time ago. In his whole career he said he ain’t never seen a company pay for a video and then not release it. But yes CL released clips of this song on her IG. She is the ONLY one to do it and because of her releasing clips people has uploaded it on KZbin. I think she did this to keep YGE from giving away her song to BlackPink.

Guys, I think she revealed this for fear of being given to another group or other singer, as the rights weren't hers and that's why she said she'd probably be scolded for releasing this... Although it is clear that she knew that she would never be able to perform that single... And as we know and said herself many of her songs even many demos already recorded stayed in YG and were given to other artists
