You always do lovely work, I'm a lead worker but have lost a lot of faith in lead, to be honest. I've seen so much of it fail, i think it's milled to pure, squirrels wreck it, I only trust heavier codes on flat areas, and far too much regulation changing causing all sorts of issues with sweating. You should invest in a couple of PRO Buckets to put your tools in. Love your videos as you're great at your job and a lovely fella.

That vent system is an awesome idea, it's the first I have seen it, being a former lead roofer myself in the late 90s and early 00s I know first hand how moisture and condensation can build up under the lead around dormers. No need for a lead clip at the bottom of the pannels then with this system? I'm thinking the clips would have to be fixed to the vent in some way for them to be effective,,,, sorry just over thinking abit lol Class big job mate and looking forward to seeing it completed, all oiled up and looking lovely 😊

Yes Nicholson do an amazing range of vents. There’s going to be lots of different types on this job. We’ve got vents everywhere. And yes no need for clips when you’re using this vent as the lead folds underneath them. Giving a lovely finish.

Do you ever encounter (STORROR) the group of seven parkour guys out of Bradenton? I often cringe when I see them running on the roofs. Can only imagine the work they create for the trades as they run on roofs and climb walls.
