hello! twice a week??? i’m breaking clara protocol here haha
i’ve had a lot of backlog footage especially from finals, so i’m trying to edit it all so i can get to showing you some of the cool things i’ve been sent a while ago!
this vlog captured me battling all of my finals (except for my capstone, which will be separate). To my dear friends, this is what I was up to when I was in my finals cave. Finals was very lonely this season because I realised that I work better alone, but if I didn't hermit then I wouldn't be able to focus 200%! my grades came out the other day and all is well with them. I did the best I could and I'm proud of my results (except for that one course I was frustrated about in this vid) (so much regret) (but anyway-) (every semester there’s that ONE course-) (ANYWAY)
this vid is really just all me. to an extent, talking to a camera allowed me to not be completely swallowed up by the inwardness of hermiting. being by myself for two/three weeks allowed me to fully feel gratitude for and appreciate the time spent with friends afterwards. my friends and i can butt heads at times especially in a uni environment. everyone is stressed and there’s only so much everyone can do to help each other out. my friends mean a lot to me (obviously) and i’ve become more in tune with when and where i should assert my stress especially when it can affect others.
also, thank you for some of the recent comments on the previous video about the really vague thing i’m going through rn! (i should clarify that it’s not a romantic thing hahaha) your words mean a lot to me. i’m shy and still trying to get better at talking to people and i hope one day i won’t label myself this way!
i know some of you have your centralised exams/finals to go through right now. whether your next step after summer is university, a job or taking your time to realise what you want to do, i hope you can retrieve all the energy you’ve lost recently to achieve future things, what ever they may be. there’s currently blue skies as i’m typing this. i hope the weather where you are somehow favours you! in fact it’s been blue for two weeks now. i’m trying not to take it for granted because rain is really gross when you have to go outside a lot. ew.

Mossery was very kind and approached me with this opportunity to use their academic planner. I’ve always wanted to try out their planners but never got the chance. i’m sad to break the news that my current 2018 bullet journal is dying. there have been rough patches this year that have prevented me from fully committing to it because it was (for lack of a better word) a bit painful to reflect and use a journal that contained a lot of negative thoughts etc.
ANYWAY, Mossery offered to send me their academic planner for free and in return, I’ll be using it the next academic year (and part of this summer).
Again, I’m going to stress that as time goes on (and in future footage), there will be things i’ll feature but my honesty code still stands. I don’t want to share a product that I can’t put my own opinion and critical self upon! the planner starts in july so i’ll be waiting patiently until then to fully share what i think.

My classmates would always get angry at how I'm very sensitive towards my grades especially on projects that I do alone and make an effort on. hi clara. this coming semester officially marks the beginning of my college life as a student in uni. the way you handle yourself in times of pressure-packed moments like these gives me some kind of a glimpse to what I’m going to look forward once classes start. seeing you collectively picking yourself up and sacrificing and pouring your heart and soul into academics is the motivation I aspire to achieve when I’m about to feel defeated (since I overwhelm myself with the amount of workload resting on my shoulders in highschool). I’m sorry to hear about that one course but at least you were happy with all your other grades! Or sucks when you discover you work better alone (it’s something I can relate to very well) and then have to turn inward and forego some socializing to get stuff done but at least it’s temporary and there’s always time to hang with friends later ((: also I’m happy the weather has been nice where you are! hello! as helpful as that may sound, essay planning is something i'm very private about. in fact, it's difficult for me to go into details about how i tackle tasks especially on a public platform where anyone from my faculty can also observe me. i tend to 'disappear' during finals season and i dont like it when people watch me work if that makes sense? it's diffcult to explain hahaha but i hope you understand! it's just something i dont feel like sharing :/ the process took a while for me to develop and it's very much tailored to my own habits

My friends literally didn't like 'studying' or even just doing the homeworks. They just like having fun, you know I don't really care about them at first. But once they gave critics about me like 'she is perfectionist and too diligent' it made me angry. I am alone and I'm different.just it. I really relate with the grade scene. I know im not fit for engineering but im pushing myself way beyond limit because of my academic scholarship and it burns me out so so bad.
