Someone else's ethnicity, or "whiteness", as stated in the title, is not something that stands between myself and "God" or my spirituality. It's so tragic that Harvard has an entire school devoted to religion, spirituality, traditions, divinity, and illumination, but still cannot grasp the fact that God would absolutely trancend these basic ideologies created by humans, including race, class, financial status, background, ect. I'm tired of being made into a victim simply because of the color of my skin. We are all one people. And we won't get anywhere until we realize that. Stop trying to cause more division within humanity, Harvard.

It comes as NO surprise that Harvard excels in division...when Whiteness.. Blackness....Browness is truly the underlying message....they will never move away from their own RACIST foundations when that division is their GOAL!!!
@bitrudder37924 жыл бұрын
This is a Divinity school, if you can believe it. Our father in heaven would never try to divide people by the color of their skin. And yet here we have the so-called leaders of SEMINARY academia acting as though It is a holy and righteous thing to attack people via the color of their skin. I think if these people got regular jobs doing manual labor and blue-collar labor among average Christians today, they would get some much-needed perspective. Maybe they grew up in a racist home and cultivated racist beliefs like that author of “white fragility.“ Wow. That is a classic case of projection. Toxic projection. It is so tragic, so harmful, that they just let themselves fall into an incredibly unbiblical position simply because it was popular amongst the intelligentsia. Worse, their recipe to “fix “all these “racists” is toxic. Any therapist practicing these toxic techniques being used by social progressives today would be struck off. They desperately need perspective.

The real matter is that in Divinity, there?'s no whiteness, browness or blackness because what God created, even before the universe, are SOULS...in God's image; free and equal.... Souls have no colour or race...we are still souls...souls are who we really are. Yes we HAVE bodies; we OWN our bodies like we own our clothes....because our bodies are like clothing for the soul...who we really are. So, this race talk is really on another level of consciousness as divinely speaking, together we are all ONE. However we have forgotten all of this and using our FREE WILL, this is where we are today.

I'm so sick of us always throwing everyone into our issues our plight. They don't do the same for us. No one talks about us when they are talking about them. We are the only ones that do this. I wish we would stop already. We are the victims we have no obligation to save the world. Furthermore they will either say to us or about us that everyone struggles and if I can be raised in not so great circumstances then you can too. They just don't want to. This is what they think of us. They really feel as though we have no right to complain and we have no legitimate claim. They don't understand and they will not educate themselves on what has been and continues to be done to us in America. For the most part no one is intentionally making efforts to continue to oppress them. Even with the Japanese camps it was only for a short time ours continues to knock at our door. Please people if you are truly an alley please educate yourself. It's important to understanding why we are the way we are

At the 1:22:00mark her answer is in direct conflict with scripture. She likely doesn’t know what is in scripture (highly unlikely) or doesn’t believe it (problematic and deeply troubling). In Matthew 7:13 Jesus could not be more clear… “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” I pray that she repents of this false teaching. Take the “narrow” way brothers and sisters, which is Jesus Christ, and reject the broad road and many “doors” that leads to death and eternal separation from God. 🙏🏽

And this is considered Christian scholarship? It is embarrassing (but in the meantime predictable) that Harvard Divinity School promotes such a standalone presentation. A gospel-centered approach to understanding anthropology would be appropriate to place in contrast. See scholar Helen Pluckrose's (145) The Evolution of Postmodern Thought | Helen Pluckrose - KZbin presentation on postmodernism to trace the development of how 'actionable postmodernism' takes theories and dangerously swells them to madness, to borrow from C S Lewis. It seems to me that valid concerns about our society end up being swallowed up in ideological and activist tropes.
