Oh just most of the Old Testament and a lot of the letters of Paul are useful for these toxic theologies. The Bible is as a whole, a problematic collection of texts because it’s widely varies writings come from cultural contexts where racism and slavery were normal. They simply reflect the cultures they were written within. Why wouldn’t they. That’s why literalist interpretations of scripture are directly correlated with toxic theology. It’s only really the teachings of the Jesus character in the gospels that can be used to support a theology of racial and social justice.

@@markrichter2053 I'm glad you mentioned social justice. Awhile back, I found Exodus 23:2. It reads, 'do not follow a crowd to do evil.' T goes on to say do not favor one side or another as a witness. I think this would negate any supremacy of any kind. Your comment about context is apt. The only reflection they had was themselves and their societies, just like us.

Spirituality embraces the totality of human existence from the essence of the Infinite Soul itself. It has no boundaries, borders,or limitations. Religion tries to explain the Infinite from the physical plane of existence. The physical world is the illusion. Therefore, any concept like a religion that tries to explain a connection to the Infinite cannot define the hidden reality behind the physical world. You must experience it for yourself, through yourself without external programming. This is why meditation is the key to higher understanding.
