Beautiful!!! Your Carins climate sounds a lot like our weather here in FL...very humid and sultry. TY for sharing bit of Australia and the Great Barrier Reef!! WOW!!!

I remember going to Japan for the first time and the humidity was so thick I actually felt like I was wading through water. But then you’d step into one of the air conditioned department stores and within seconds you’d be freezing. Luckily that level of humidity didn’t last.

Yes! It was exactly like that. We would be desperate to have a break from the heat so we would go into a shopping center for a while but then we would feel too cold 🙄😂

New to your channel-the studies in your moleskine book are fabulous and loose! Loved them!!!🤩 I hit ‘Edit’ to add that the last in-progress pic of that big canvas was terrific. Liked the toning down down you did. It’s sooo hard to not go into detail! But you did a lovely job. I painted large canvases in acrylic for 3 years- but when I got a f.t. job I didn’t have time for it. So, I switched to watercolors for the past 3 years because it was quicker & portable, less setup, etc. This video and the one you just did with acrylics on 6 taped Arches paper panels has inspired me!

I loved your vacation videos and your sketchbook paintings are gorgeous! The coral reef painting you were working on is looking lovely. I'll check your Instagram for progress. I totally got what you were trying to say about creating your own semi-abstract way of painting a coral reef. Really enjoying your channel a lot!

I like the place you chose to recharge your batteries it sounds like nature kisses your soul and then you come back home to paint. And your sketchbook, your art, kisses my heart. Period art has become my new hobby and I’m still discovering what I like the best I’m still trying to discover my little place in all the art choices.
