So while it’s easy to trash-talk each other’s cultures here on KZbin, before you do I think you should know that many more Americans than you can imagine are into “good” techno and not the shit that Ellen’s audio guy played on the show. I love hip-hop and other genres, too, but don’t want to hear any one genre all the time, and being a professional musician I’m generally very picky about what I listen to, and I know that many other Americans feel the same way. Unfortunately, the crap that gets played on American radio is not reflective of a huge sector of the population.
