I may be late to the party, but thank you for this. I just received my pad of stonehenge aqua black watercolor paper and didn't know what to draw to try it out. The neons glow effect technique from you is perfect though, to draw a decorated christmas tree with lights on black paper. So ty again for the inspiration! 💜

Do you only uses Prisma colours I’ve got a few sets I love the prisma xx you no your colours I no mine am a florist and gardener so have a good idea of how the flowers look xx and I use the colour wheel xx

It’s funny how some of us just see colour isn’t it. Your job will allow you to see a myriad of beautiful shades. I know the Prismas inside out. I can happily take a walk with the dogs and go along reciting colours in my head - oh look that leaf is chartreuse with sienna 😂🎨🎨🎨🎨

I know years in prison the colour for this demonstration but I was just wondering would it work with A cheaper brand of pencils like Crayola colour pencils and could you possibly do another demonstration using those type of pencils

QueenKas1 this technique can be used with any brand of pencil at all - just in equivalent colours 😉

QueenKas1 yep - the dust jacket is the same kind of thickness. This is a technique rather than to be used on a set type of paper with only one type of pencil. You can apply to paper or card :)

Hi there’s not really a way around this. But you don’t need Prismas. I’ve seen a pack of 4 neon colour pencils in the craft section of BnM and other places for literally a couple of pounds xxx

Can you also so the same thing with Alkohol markers? I have neon yellow markers and I thought they'd be perfect for this but now I'm not sure anymore 😂

Sandra Kaiser hei! Yeah - you can’t really replicate this with markers as they’re not really meant for blending. You can get a small level of blend with markers, but it means a lot of ink on the page which would be a high risk level of bleed through.
