Thanks Claire for sharing your journey. I found myself smiling a lot and thinking, yep, yep, that is so similar to what I went through. From the posture to the trigger points, the PRT and many many things in between. I am still experiencing a lot of pain, but know for certain that it is all based in fear. I fear it getting worse and try to get everything done in 6 minutes before the pain hits level 10. Of course, this only serves to bring it on LOL. I am working hard, but not too hard, at breaking this habit. I feel the most important thing I have learned over the past 6 years of chronic pain is not what I do, so much as HOW I do things. It fits in well with the different perceptions as told by Drew in his Pain Habit book. I have a way to go, but I am confident that one day I shall also be pain free. I wish you all the best for your continued recovery. Your story and lovely nature are a blessing to me and I hope to reflect such bravery in my own life. X

Amazing story Claire- thanks for sharing. I’m just starting to really know how much my emotions are driving the symptoms. Triggering the trigger points so to speak! I’m a body worker who has done a lot of work with trigger points on my clients. They should resolve after a number of sessions.(Peggy)
