❤️ALDI ! Shopped since I married, back in 92...., Raised by Aldi shopping parents... Both my siblings also are Aldi tried and true...... I’ve converted many! Great Haul! My kids love Kiev and rice dinners, and meatball subs are a super hearty meal before various sport and activity schedules...... lol, my now Eagle Scout, and collage senior...... Aldi man! Haha, his BS patrols often rescued other patrols, and fed many boys with their under budget meals and extras!! Is a great cook and meal planner too! Teach the kids! Loved your post!

Aldi is our favorite too! Whenever I go anywhere else now it feels so expensive after shopping at Aldi for a while. And now I'm so curious about your pizza recipe for your personal pizzas (we do instant pot yogurt too)! Great video and it reminds me that I need to finish meal planning for the week today too! ❤️
@ClaireRisper6 жыл бұрын
it's so easy! It is equal parts plain greek yogurt and self rising flour! I usually do 1 cup of each, i make the self rising flour by putting 1 cup of flour with 1.5 tsp baking powder. the dough is really sticky but you can use it for almost anything, it kind of has a sour dough flavor to it. I made "bagels" with it and added some everything bagel seasoning to it and they were amazing! Bakes for about 20-25 minutes depending how thick!

Did you know that you can make your own self-rising flour? Add 1-1/2 tsp of baking powder and 1/4 tsp of salt to a cup of all purpose flour. It’s much less expensive than buying a bag of self-rising flour that you may not use before the Best Buy date.

@@ClaireRisper omg Oatmilk is soo good! If you drink coffee or hot tea with cream I recommend the extra creamy, otherwise I just buy regular unsweetened. It has an "oaty" flavor, so sometimes I'll warm it up and add some cinnamon and nutmeg to it. Thanks so much for replying! 🤗

Great video and great job on your inexpensive yet appetizing meal choices. You have me wondering what's in the mac and cheese recipe and if it was worth the expense. May I make a suggestion to leave off the music when you are talking? It's distracting and makes listening more difficult.
@ClaireRisper5 жыл бұрын
The Mac wasn't very good, I never made the recipe again! I think some of the fast instant pot recipes are very overrated! I appreciate the feedback, I have gotten that a few times and I usually don't put music on these types of videos anymore, still working out what works the best! @ClaireRisper5 жыл бұрын
Well, my kids don't eat tacos. So my husband and I ate probably 4 tortillas for a taco dinner. My kids are toddlers so they each need one tortilla folded in half to make a quesadilla lunch. Which leaves 4 tortillas for my husbands burritos at lunch. This video was made a while ago so i don't remember exactly how the tortillas were distributed, but there are actually many ways you can divide 10 tortillas.

I tried going to Aldi and I was so excited to try it out. But now after trying 4 stores in 3 states I don’t know how anyone can stand shopping there. Every. Single. Location. Smells like rotten food and sweat socks. Every one. It’s disgusting. The stores were all so disorganized so I couldn’t find anything I needed. Apparently the cashiers don’t get paid enough to give a shit so they literally throw every single item into your cart before you have a chance to bag anything or get boxes. That place is not worth the stress of shopping there. I would rather spend the extra $1 and go to a store with actual quality ingredients.
@lisaallen44752 жыл бұрын
