Heyyyyyy lovelies, we are going big in this video with 4 completely different techniques in one mould from Molds and Shapes. This is a British and German collaboration with many artists all using Molds and Shapes Moulds. You will find them linked here.
• Christmas Collaboratio...
I am trying 4 different techniques using Polymer clay in resin, using fabric in Resin, DIY silicone inlays in resin and washi tape. I have never tried fabric in resin and was totally shocked at how it turned out. Please see all links below for everything you will need to recreate these. I am also using Istoyo resin for the very first time and I loved it. So easy to use being a 1:1 and crystal clear. You can get 10% using my link

The jumpers are so awesome-my fave. Next the trees. The washi are awesome, but I somehow feel they are 'cheating'- don't know quite why...the are just too perfect. Although the plaid are perfectly finished (great save), and I love plaid, they are my least favorite because they do not automatically associate to Christmas for me. Even though it was a fairly long video, I enjoyed every second. Don't think you could have cut anything. Awesome work. You keep inspiring me. 🥰

They all turned out wonderful! My fav is the Washi tape snowman, it definitely gives me a nostalgic Norman Rockwell vibe. The 3D effect of the sweaters/jumpers as well as the inlay trees is really great too! To cover up the missing fabric you could try putting a metal eyelet in the hole, I think that’s what they’re called. Louise Singleton used them in her notebook video last week, she begins using them at 12:19 in the video. It’s also a really nice finishing touch. Great job on all your ornaments!❤❤❤⭐️⭐️⭐️

❤️ I love all of the ornaments.❤ ⭐️🌟🌠 I think the hedgehog is so very cute. The jumpers remind me of the Wizarding World and that Christmas episode. But I love the tree inlays best. I have wanted to do cloth in resin, so thank you for trying it for us. ❤❤❤ I really wish the pens came in others metallic colors. A candy apple red, sapphire, emerald and a white would be excellent. Can you spread the word about that?

♥ Hummm Washi Tape or in-lays? They are so different in style from each other that it's hard to decide. So or a fair and I only have money for one, what will it be? Such a hard choice they are all lovely and that hedgehog is so so adorable and the add the mica-magic element wow BUT I think it would have to be the single snowman. With the magic of the mica it appears as if the snowman is doing magic himself, it's very fanciful. Not to take anything away from the trees old fashion feel and Wendy's playful post. Adding the letters to the jumpers was pure cleverness. The fabric ones have flair. Love them all!! ✨🌟🌠

Lovely.. they are all amazing! The material ones.. why not cut a strip of matching material to make a bow tied thru the holes.. the bulky bow would hide it 😂😂 someone may have already suggested that but it’s a lot of comments to read. Lovely work Claire.. tons of inspiration here for sure 🎅 🎄 🎁 ❄️

Wow these are all great! If i had to choose a favorite, the little hedgie is definitely tied with the jumper ones, the polymer jumpers are just too cute! The fabric ones are also great! If these were to become ornaments, you could use a gold ribbon to make a bow and use the same ribbon to hang it with, and just position the bow so it's glued or tied at the hole, to cover the gap in the fabric. Loved the longer video and they really all look amazing!! ❤❤❤❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Could you put some acrylic paint in the inlays to make it like snow on the trees? Would that interfere with the chameleon powder at all? Edit: ❤️ Edit2 (you’d think I’d learn): ⭐️

6:21 I would like to suggest using a scrap piece of fabric seeing if a hole punch would make a hole in your fabric & seeing if it fits over the peg before you add resin to the mould. If it works & you plan to replicate with different fabrics, test on each fabric first. And if you plan to use regularly buying a slightly better quality than a cheap cheap one & use it for fabric only, just as you would with fabric scissors. Plus who knows what you could use the cut out fabric dots for in future craft projects. Snowballs? Polka dot themes? Fake buttons?

25:57 ❤ I made it all the way through in one sitting (except to answer the door to the postman) & I love all of them. I love hedgehogs as well so that was a massive hit before placing the tape in the resin. I did have my doubts about the clay at the start when you mentioned it & again when you put the first layer of resin over the top of them. I had huge doubts with the fabric because I thought that it was quite plain. I think you could get away with using the brightest most dominant colour of your fabric for the background resin coat. I would have gone red over black. Maybe gold or silver (or any colour) leaf around the peg hole? Hmmmm not sure but always worth a try. But seeing them finished I was so wrong with my doubts. I love the inlays, they have an amazing effect. I wonder what would happen if you did your big tree first, colour, next coat of resin & place your next inlay & so on to make the trees have that depth you get well looking at real trees outside. They look magical as they are. The fabric ones came out amazing with their big letters on them. They may work well with words as well. But the gold & silver finish makes them look stunning & expensive. They blew my mind when you finished adding the gold to the red one. But now for the jumpers. They look great. I would not have thought to put clay in resin. So it’s now added to my list of things to try. Now I think there is going to be a lot of people out there with the same thought. They do remind me of Mrs Weasley’s Christmas Jumpers & I love them. I love that you get the shadow effect as well from the monogram as well. I cannot choose a favourite as I love them all. But I can honestly say that the clay & fabric were the ones that blew my mind at the end because I had doubts even halfway through let alone at the beginning on how they would come out. So seeing them finished, brought me a lot of Christmas joy. Congratulations Clare on another successful project. Mission Complete. My last suggestion is one where you would need a drill & a vice. Using your mould, there was one last area you did not use. What about using those diamond shapes & creating some little resin shapes that could make mini tree decorations plain or patterned. Drill a hole from the top to the bottom as small as possible. Using some fishing line or coloured thread, tie to a hook or create a loop & hang onto something like a door handle or a husband, thread some beads, thread through the diamond, thread a few more beads & tie to a bauble. Or you make a loop each end or you fine thread or fishing line, pass through a button, then through the beads & diamonds however you like until you get to the knot in the loop at the other end & pass through another button & hang up as a ceiling decoration. It doesn’t have to be Christmas themed. Maybe a girly theme for a little girls bedroom. My last thought for the day. Sorry it’s a long one. Congratulations Claire. Amazing work.

Love them but I'd have made the star any color than green on the 1 little tree. These are definitely stunning ❤ My favorite are the inlays. I need to try that technique with "home made" inlays. I've never owned a personalized jumper. My initial is also 'C'. If you used a little black paint around the hole before adding the initial, it would be barely visible. My favorite is the bauble with 3 trees. 🌟

My favorite is BIG ❄️ and next would be Buffalo 🐃 plaid. But they're all beautiful!

Have you tried using a hole punch for the pendant hole? a newer one will cut fabric. I was shouting "use a paint pen on the edge"! and then you did. I like all of them but the Washi tape is beautiful! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brilliant video. They may all been done before but they are super cute. It does feel so comforting to see some like yourself have dodgy moments. It still turned out super cute. ❤❤🌟🌟
