You are SO CLEVER, Claire! That should be your channel name: *Claire's Clever Crafts!* LOVE these gorgeous, "antiqued" labels! I was going to suggest, if you have rips, just do a "patchwork" look, or even do the ripped paper scrap look. I LOVE the fragmented look, girl! Good job! 😊❤ "Pray" was used as a questioning sort of thing. "Prithee (I pray thee), tell me, if thou wilt..." or "Pray, tell!" We still use that last one in the States. 😊 This was really fun, Claire! Safe travels and have a great time this weekend! 🙏💕

The torn one looks like it's been burned too, maybe the letters were a bit too close to the chimney they were hidded behind? The hard to read and fragmented look gives them more room to make up stories around! 💜

These are gorgeous Claire!!!! For the issue on the back, I thought maybe putting the first layer of resin down and cure, then paint that. Next lay the washi over the painted surface and then top coat…. That would mean the paint is sandwiched between resin and the washi xx

Hi Claire. They sell much smaller micro brushes. I got mine from temu and the best part of the smaller ones are if you pull the cotton part off you have a soft ,non abrasive micro tip better than a cocktail stick. The ones you have would ne great for mica powders.

Hey babes ❤ thanks for the shoutout and yeah they're called daubers, oh and babes isopropyl alcohol will give you more movement with the alcohol inks or you can get some resin based blending solution too ❤ you absolutely achieved the italic French script vibez absolutely loving them. Do you think paper punches would work ? They look absolutely amazing like so vintage and beautiful it's like there was a map and someone separated it and put it in different necklaces and to find the treasure you need to find all the necklaces 😂❤ beautiful gorgeous pieces babes absolutely adore them ❤❤

You can use paper - you only have to make sure its been coated with white (PVA) glue. Otherwise the resin will soak in and make the paper look translucent. (yes, I have 20 years worth of mixed media supplies - countless stamps and dies and inks as well as beading supplies). The UK must be an exciting place to be this month - a coronation, Eurovision AND Makers Central. Enjoy!

Stick the washi tape front to back BEFORE putting it in the bezel so you know that the washi tape is exactly the same size & shape.

You can use paper in resin, but you have to seal it with a special sealer or glue to protect it. I'm sure you knew that already tho.

Absolutely beautiful, original stamping, creating a one of a kind look. ❤ btw have you seen the wooden frame bezels open back. I’ve been using for a river table look. Using veneer as wood inserts

These are lovely! I'm a little distracted today because Eurovision Song Contest starts in 20 minutes, but I think I'll try a version of this, once I get a chance. You, know, since I know you have a Cricut, you could cut the shapes with it from a sheet of printable vinyl, and then do the stamping and all afterwards.
@silverleaf79 Жыл бұрын
You can buy printable sheets of washi tape (A4 size), I bet you could easily stamp on those and it would be far easier to work with.

Those are really amazing! I love them all! I don't know if you've been able to see it by now, but one of the stamps is a death certificate! I could see "Name of Deceased" on the stamp. Why someone would make a stamp like that I don't know. It's a bit creepy!

Love the look. Ar,e there plain labels you could use? I mean without the wavy edges, or do you want the wavy edges?
@ajnormandgroome Жыл бұрын
I would have put empty bezel of same shape and trace label first, then cut. Oh, you did!
@leesescraftycreations6719 Жыл бұрын
If you stick tape to tape then add onto resin you won’t get white pushing through
@cherylabrams7590 Жыл бұрын
Use the handle of those brushes instead of the brush part to push down on that
@221b-Maker-Street Жыл бұрын
Little tip for anyone watching, f you use an _empty_ bezel over the top of your stickers while they're still on the backing, you can just draw the inner bezel outline, cut it while the backing paper is still on, try it for size in an empty bezel until you're happy with the fit, and *_then_* peel off the backing and pop it in your sticky UV bezeled cup. As you can see, It can be quite tricky to cut it once you've removed the backing! And even using a sharp blade doesn't really help... 🥴
@carolynaderman5185 Жыл бұрын
Trace out the inside shape of the bezels on the labels before you fill the bezels with the resin....then you'll only have to cut your shapes out and stick them in the appropriate bezel.
