"Dwarven Forge" is an original song in our Hammerdeep collection we wrote based on the dwarves from fantasy literature. We are continuing to develop our own Dwarven legend through multiple musical compositions. We hope you enjoy it:)

I never thought of this before, but if the dwarves are using coal as fuel while everyone else still uses charcoal, it makes sense their metallurgy would be of a higher quality. A hotter fire purges more impurities from the ore during smelting, making for a better end product.

There metal would likely also be better as they not only would have the coal and this a higher carbon content then charcoal but they may also have access to other metals like magnesium, zink, titanium and others they could mix into the metal so good eye on you.

This is the time-line-ish I'm theorizing for Hammerdeep. 1. Boic Bravesoul, this is an ancient tale by the modern Hammerdeep and established it's values. 2. Birth of an Age, the Dwarves are preparing for their war with the Orcs, after their war with the Orcs, the dragons invaded and were fought back (the line "Since the dawn of time we have stood here" indicates they haven't been driven out by the dragons yet, but the song implies rallying for war, the only other fight we know the Dwarves of Hammerdeep have been in is against the Orcs). 3. When the Hammer Falls, A rallying cry before going to fight the dragons (reference to dragons' previous incursion which has since past and a previous war against the Orcs which I theorize both took place after Birth of an Age). 4. Dragonshore, After When the Hammer Falls, the rallying cry, here the Dwarves go and finally fight the dragons. 5. Dwarves Forge, Reference to using Dragon's Bones "For armor stores, never forged before", in Dragonshore we hear "Now Dragon Scales we will take as armor for our backs", meaning this is after Dragonshore, soon after most likely. 6. The Song of Hammerdeep, After an invasion of Orcs which was fought off, and the Dragons who have been slewn, the Dwarves are in the glory of a renewed Hammerdeep after trials and tribulations and remembering the history and beauty and glory of both Hammerdeep and world it is in. 7. Daughters of the Sky, this acts as an introduction to the Faeries, I'm placing it here because it's before Oshjrad (Where the first explicit Faerie character, Elwynn, is explicitly seen), but after the whole history of Hammerdeep saga, however it's exact place is not of very much importance to my knowledge. 8. Oshjrad Bonebreaker, We are introduced to Oshjrad Unchosen before given that title, I believe this is after the Hammerdeep saga so far because none of the songs have the World Stone summons of the High King and the Battle of World Stone Keep mentioned, a seemingly significant event where a descendent of Boic Bravesoul takes part in the battle, that being said that's mainly a theory, one I don't have too much evidence to back up. 9. The Battle at World Stone Keep, This is clearly after Oshjrad because we now know that the group who visited Oshjrad was Elwynn, Rythrael, Ahmarron, Branjegar, and one additional Dwarf, here they pick up Oshjrad to help them on their quest to the World Stone, and Oshjrad Bonebreaker becomes Oshjrad Unchosen, his name referenced in World Stone. These are just my theories, and I could totally be off, let me know what you think, and CDP, if you want to confirm or deny this I would love either one of those.

Oh man, that honestly had me tearing up a bit. Something that I love about your work with Dwarven stuff is how you make them feel really like songs of Dwarves at the height of their power. Too often do we see Dwarves in their decline, remembering glories of the past but unable to match them again. This song especially feels like something a whole forge of Dwarves would spontaneously start singing. I am so grateful for your work. Your rendition of Durin's Song got me back into my love of Tolkien's work, and I've been following you and loving your stuff ever since. You even inspired my brother and I to write and perform our own Tolkien song, and I am so grateful for that cause it showed us that that's something we can actually do. Keep up the great work!

This did it, you get the top of my favorite musicians list. This has a power that I've gotten from so few songs. You should be proud of all that you have done! I especially liked "This is the realm of glory". Then I heard 2:53, and I got shivers all over. This is a beautiful masterpiece!

I find it does the heart good to hear songs of the dwarven people rebuilding, no that songs of their falls aren't tragic and beautiful, just that its good to have both sides of the spectrum! love your guys work!

Most of all I love dwarves and dwarven culture in fantasy. I like their fraternal society, diligence, courage, beautiful architecture and a harsh and violent temper. its awesome song!)

You guys are are brilliant and have done it again. This is glorious. Legitimately feels like it should be the national anthem of a United dwarven alliance. Like if Moria, Erebor, the iron hills, etc just United as one. So amazing.

I discovered this channel long ago, back at the very beginning. I remember the first of these Dwarven ballads, Dragonshore, and how it moved me. I can still feel the flame that sparked within me as I continued to listen to each and every song composed and performed masterfully. The songs of Hammerdeep have filled me with a thunderous passion. I shall never forget these lyrical masterpieces. Clamavi De Profundis has and is weaving a story that I am thrilled to witness unfold. Onwards, forever and ever, says I!

Oh wow. This is really nice. Sounds like when a new dwarvenhold gets established and the young dwarven adults are building it all up. A very optimistic tone to it with a lot of depth.

This sounds like it would be sung at the start of a dwarf focused Disney movie. I can just imagine it staring in the forge, the fire slowly rising during the first chorus. Before bursting open for a crucible to be placed in. And then the camera panning through the forge, following a blade being forged. It would be awesome.

I love everything about this song. The rhythm of the vocals, the rhyming scheme in stanzas, the subject matter, the rising power in the chorus, the full-bodied male voices, the chosen lyrics to fit over certain parts of the melody to emphasize certain syllables. Everything.

Every song that is made not only in this album but by clamavi in general sends a shiver down my spine. But not one of fear or terror, one of comradery and craftsmanship, of might and height, and of the sheer amount of will these small fictional people can pack into such a small frame. Every one of these songs is a masterpiece.

Deep Rock Galactic always feels better singing these songs or the works of Wind Rose, and "Birth of an Age" always makes the endgame bosses in Monster Hunter World SO MUCH more awesome. I swear it helped me beat Fatalis for the first time.

Dwarven forge, when the hammer falls, the song of hammerdeep, birth of an age and others are just epic dwarf songs. It's a epic journey back to their former glory. I met this channel because of Tolkien songs and now I have such great epic original musics. I'm really glad I was here to see all this happen. But, I need to say, I would like to see more original songs about other races and creatures like humans, elfs, orcs, dragons, and others. It will be great see all this great work extended to others lines of interprection. Thanks for this great song!
