Clamping wood in vise, no more knurling marks

You mounted it wrong. Normally, you should align the back jaw with the edge of your work bench, allowing you to clamp long pieces vertically and not have the bench in the way. Just sayin'...

19Edurne interesting hadnt thought of that. I did mount it where it is because of the structure under the bench. I did replace these blocks just the other day, new video on that

Then just clamp a piece of wood vertically in your vise and tuck it against the edge of your bench, or even leave 1 or 2 mm clearance before you punch your holes. Should do the trick.

couldn’t you even unscrew the metal holders that have the teeth teeth and replace them with 2 same size wood holders permanently

I have a video where i do that... Wouldn't recommend that tho i need to build another set of these
