so for those who are wondering: there's a thread in the steam discussions, by the creator, titled: "What is the main difference from RimWorld?" and there they list 5 different focuses (family, focus on day to day life, world sim, atmosphere, setting).

I was initially attracted to the extra survival logistics requirements, like tools needed to chop trees or put out fires. I also liked the wobble the pawns do when they walk.

There's a mod for RimWorld that adds pawn wobble/animations. It's pretty popular at the moment, just sort by that on the Workshop.

Looks promising. Perhaps the game's tutorial should encourage the production of pots early. In the ancient world, clay pots were used for everything--water hauling, waste management, or storage of anything you didn't want vermin destroying.

I played the demo and enjoyed so much, I think it will be better than rimworld if it has millstone and research job that will make the game playing age progress among ages. Also it has a lot of product details. hope it will be open world like rimworld too.

Just an FYI: Eel Traps gotta be set up to actually catch eels just like how other stations need to be set up to make tools/food/whatever. It'd be nice if they just caught eels and didn't need any settler interaction, but your clanfolk basically need to go reset them each time they're finished catching eels. Also, you don't want to have too many in a single body of water, cause you over-fish and can run out for a while.

Honestly, this looks like a Rimworld Mod Collection. I think I literally played something like that using mods, Camera plus+, animated facials, toon ground texture, medieval overhaul and some UI mod, Yayo animations;

There is always someone around to twist things into a racial issue. The swastika used to be a symbol for Buddhists, but people just have to co-opt all sorts of symbology into everything to the point just standing still is some kind of sign or dogwhistle for hate, no matter how easy it is to prove otherwise. Now those folks can't even enjoy their own symbology because folks like you have no room to see it as anything but hate, because some human turd used it for evil.

The design is similar to Rimworld, clearly it's not a direct "ripoff", since most features are completely different from each other. And the animation/graphics on Rimworld is vastly inferior to this game. Anyway, who cares. So far this game looks great, specially considered it's a demo right now.
