Clansman Prc 320 Tuning - How to Tuning process

Today i do a short video on how to tune up the old clansman prc 320 radio
this one is loaned from m6osd for the benefit of this video
Even though i did used to own one and wish i never parted with it.

Hello I have recently bought a 320 with the LSB mod, how do I get 80 meters on this set also very quiet volume is up and not as loud as yours, I am using a whip antenna as I have a small garden. Thanks, Dave 2e0nbc.

You will struggle to get 80m on the whip alone, but try stringing out 4 x 5m counterpoises see if that helps. Trying to join the MATRON net on 80m I presume?

It’s on all the prc320’s

PRC-320 owner here as well. Yes, +2khz for phone (voice), but on CW you tune as you normally would.
