I mean there's a world quest in penacony about how the IPC destroyed 7 planets and killed billions of people with a nuclear weapon just for funsies when the intended use of the weapon was to destroy the antimatter legion/annihilation gang The guy who created the weapon refused to make another one nor give them info on how to recreate it so they held him captive for the rest of his life, and the second he died extracted his memories using memoria to try and take it forcibly. He was so insistent on them never letting it happen again that his consciousness held on and he remained trapped in the dreamscape under watch for multiple decades until you help him escape and set him free That quest shows really well (along with the loading screen about the ipc) that them doing everything "for qlipoth" is a giant lie they make even their own employees believe. They don't actually follow the preservation and actively go against qlipoth's beliefs, but keeping up that facade is in their best interest to make themselves look better

It’s a pretty well known theory that the IPC actually follows/has been usurped by Ouroboros (the voracity) and keeping up the facade of the Preservation for PR purposes. The fact that Qlipoth granted their blessing unto a tiny planet abandoned for centuries, and the first antagonist of said planet once they returned to the galactic stage was THE IPC should speak volumes.

While you're technically right, its Diamond who overall leads the Strategic Investment Department while the Ten Stonehearts are the directors that lead the individual teams within the department. The Ten Stonehearts draw their power directly from Diamond's Emanator power which was indeed bestowed upon him by Qlipoth.

I love how even factions on the same path have more nuance that just "hello fellow friend" and actually have a twist on their personal beliefs, just like religions in reality Is particularly interesting to me how the ipc view the arquitects in belobog as "outdated" or "primitive", taking advantage of them or moking them, just like the aventurine opinion about our lance, when in reality belobog is a true follower of the preservation, more than the ipc is in the present, it gives so much life to the world

Also, if no one minds this, I just came up with an Alignment Chart for the factions: Lawful Good: -Xianzhou Alliance -Belobog (Post-Cocolia) Neutral Good: -Astral Express Chaotic Good: -Galaxy Rangers Lawful Neutral: -The Family True Neutral: -Genius Society Chaotic Neutral: -Stellaron Hunters -Masked Fools Lawful Evil: -IPC Neutral Evil: -The Swarm Chaotic Evil: -Annhilation Gang -Antimatter Legion Anyways, these are just thw factions I am somewhat confident fit into their alignment, I'd like to hear what other people think are the alignments of the factions not mentioned, or try to correct me here in case I made a mistake.

IPC is lawful neutral. There are evil people in the faction but there are also good people. The ipc as a whole is needed for connecting many planets in the universe. The IPC is also very divided with many different factions in it.

@@AnuUprety-w7e The IPC is as an organisation genocidal and one of, if not the most murderous forces in the universe, it doesn't matter how much connection or good they do in comparison to the bad, maybe the Antimatter Legion or the Swarm are worse, but the IPC is VERY fitting as being evil, they probably have a death toll at LEAST in the 10 billions, if not to the hundreds of billions.

I gotta say, the Harmony and Family is the most disappointing. An entire massive story arc, and by the end of it, the only single character that we got that actually follows that path truly, is Robin :,( I had honestly wished to see more Family characters. And the story seems to insinuate were done with the Family now

On the contrary- this storyline has opened up many possibilities of seeing Family members at future planets. We now know more about the Family, so we won’t need an exposition dump when we encounter them again. Unlike the IPC, the Family isnt evil. Its just the Order’s corruption. I have no doubt that we will encounter more members of the family, in their proper role of helping people.
