i went with Svarog's idea because it just seems more humane? I feel like hijacking Pascal's network so often and making him continuously have his memories erased would put him in complete confusion everytime and he wouldn't ever improve on his emotions because of that. There's also the fact that Clara would have to endure with Pascal forgetting her all the time and that sounds like a completely horrible feeling.

Aaaand it turns out to be even more fecked up. From what I can piece together, she wasn't just rejected due high expectations, she was a naive ordinary girl intentionally made Guardian just to be Stephan's puppet. Didn't get to make decisions, but always be the one to face all the consequences for those controlling behind the scene. When the people rebeled against Cyrille-Stephan corrupted ruling, she was made a scapegoat. That Stephan mf set her up to die and ditched. Cyrille was shoved into a box (hence the puzzles) and threw off a cliff, she died without knowing what had happened. They also insinuate the high possibility that Stephan was responsible for the original Guardian candidate Cyrilla's sudden "disappearance" (Cyrille's talented older sister). If that's true, it basically means the bastard killed the smarter older sister and manipulated the obedient younger sister to become his puppet, only to back stab her as well when things went bad.

Bro this was seriously the hardest choice i had to make... in my heart i know that svarog's point 100% made sense both for people's safety and Clara's morality in the long run, but i can't help but think about how fast technology can develop in their future, how his previous belief despite using logical data as reference was false the moment a new variable appeared (aka us) and the possibility of Pascal's existence being useful for researchers to study about robot's "emotion" knowing that there are only 2 robots capable of this and losing one would be fatal... is that a potential world-building i smell? Probably not.. did i regret choosing Clara's idea? Definitely.. but i can't help it ya'll... :')

Even if their technology develops quick, the fact that Pascal's system constantly deteriorates says they'll have to resort to Svarog's idea sooner or later,worse is if damage is already done to just finally convince them to do so and it's even worse to do that after Clara already put so much effort to maintain its stability. It's very hard to say no to Clara. I went with Clara's idea here, not because I believe Svarog's wrong, but because I want Clara to struggle, to fight for her ideal. I don't like the idea of just telling her to give up. She knows what she's setting herself up to, to do something even Svarog, whom she trusts the most, cannot do. If she succeed in the future and rid Pascal of the thing, then it would be great. If not, she'd be sad, but it would still have been a good experience to gain, plus, Svarog will still be there to cheer her up.

Honestly I was thinking more about Pascal rather than Clara, I mean in this option we condemn Pascal to a great amount of resets that by Svarog calculations + Jarlo II state I can't see resolved in less than 10y for example and that while knowing he's a ticking bomb. Also I don't think Clara needs more to learn the limits of determination and making a limit on how much she should struggle even if she can do it(you know, the whole "the fact we can do it, doesn't mean we should) but honestly I'm pleasantly surprissed by the amount of takes about this mission and it ended up being my favourite from the ones I played(that is, Natasha, mole, Asta, Arlan and Clara herself).

It's like putting off the misery till later, but it will get WORSE as time goes by when have to CONFRONT it. It is better to confront the issue now than have regrets about it later when pascal eventually goes berserk years later, during that time you have already lulled lulled yourself into FALSE a sense of security and someone dies because of it... Finally got around to doing this mission. When I got to this choice (literally just a few minutes ago) I let myself think about the ramifications between both of them. While I loved Clara's determination to see this through, I agreed with Svarog's decision. Though Pascal quickly grew on me, the fact is - he won't ever fully recover. And if Clara is constantly working on Pascal, then her dream of fixing *every* robot is an even bigger impossibility. Not only that, Clara is human. If she's able to keep Pascal well for as long as she lives, the moment she passes on is the moment Svarog will reset Pascal anyway. You can argue Clara could make Svarog promise not to do that, but again inevitably Pascal will lose control and will need to be put down regardless. Even with all that, I still went back and forth with my decision. I began thinking about how Pascal's problems could be compared to a terminal illness in a human. We wouldn't want to give up on a loved one who has it, would we? We'd want to get them what ever treatment we could find and keep them alive for as long as possible. Finally though, I went with Svarog with the final reason being: A terminal illness' eventual fate is one's demise. But Pascal's eventual fate potentially means the demise of others before himself. Could even be the demise of Clara, if Pascal loses control and Svarog doesn't get to her in time. Legit was not expecting such a heart-wrenching moment in a gacha game. Hate hearing Clara cry but I'm glad the eventual ending is more sweet than bitter.

I chose Clara because I would like to support Clara's strength and determination. She's aware of the potential futility of doing it all and seeing it through the end, and that is commendable. She may likely eventually cry, but with the efforts she put on restoring Pascal. Holding on to future technological progress is a light at the end of the tunnel. She can hold her head high even with all the tears if/when Pascal's circuits give. On the other hand, if I were to look at it from Pascal's perspective, Svarog seems to be the more humane decision. The analogy of Alzhiemer's is not lost on me, but the notion of the patient being a robot softens the impact despite the sentience.

I’m having to make this decision currently. I cried while watching this video.. Literally broke when I heard Clara cry and Pascal disappearing. I understand both of their decisions.. I want a happy ending but I’m leaning towards Mr. Svarogs more. When we had the mission of the AI women in Hertas space station I choose for her to stay. I honestly kind of regretted that decision.. she eventually forgot everything and continued her same life of not knowing. I probably should have had her suffering end. I’ve never been great at making decisions so these ones I really need to think about. I know with either I’ll feel some regret but I hope one is less than the other. To use Svarogs logic and reset him? Or to use Claras hope. I’ll update when I finally choose.

I chose Svarog’s idea due to a mistake I made in another quest. There was this quest in Herat Space Station were there was this experimental “human” robot that a scientist made of his dead wife. It was so sad and in the end you chose to keep resetting the robot so it can live or recycle her. This time, I’m choosing a better option, why put Pascal through endless torture? Man, hearing Clara cry was heartbreaking…. Clara herself wasn’t even sure what would happen if she lost herself from Pascal forgetting her. I expected a “I’ll deal with that when we get to it” or a “I’ll be accountable for my mental anguish” or something that showed she was prepared. Instead she acknowledges that she’s scared, and has doubts that she can pull through which is completely normal, especially for a girl her age. My mind at that point went with Svarog even though my heart wanted Clara to be happy. At the end of the day the future is scary to imagine, and in my view, I saw Clara being affected by this which made me feel right now she’s not ready for a responsibility this massive..

I chose Clara. That kind of emotional trigger when Pascal resets (basically die) will broke her because I felt the same thing when I was a kid. Circumstances like that will surely make you grow quicker as a person but one thing that others don't understand, is the fact that you could always turn into the same person without having to go through all that sh*t. Besides, even if you go Clara's route, Svarog will help research Pascal's case being an anomaly as a robot and someday, they will have a technology that would help him succeed overwriting Pascal's core without resetting his emotional intelligence. Went with Svargog idea, lmao it made me cry, maybe it was mostly because at the formatting moment it remind me a very sad moment in my life and when i heard Clara cry i broke in tears. After seeing this im glad with the one i choose.

I was late to jump on honkai star rail but this and cyrille's "side quests" were some of the best yet tragic stories i've ever played through, i picked svarog's idea because in the end it's better for clara and pascal, i don't know what would happen to clara's mentality if she had kept repairing him day by day and forgetting everything and relearning that also day by day would be inhumane (my opinion okay calm down) for pascal.

What i think about this choice, there is no right, or wrong answer. This choice made me think literally, and i find both answers equally uneasy. Svarog side is a safer answer, cuz Pascal may go mayhem again, which makes Clara more safer, even if it makes her sad. Clara's side is a bit risky, but we don't know from first hand, will it work, or not. Clara will be happy, but might get hurt. I think thick, and yet... I just metaphorically toss coin, and choose Svarog side... Cuz i said, both choices are literally equal. You want to see Clara happy, and yet, safety is also more important factor.

Honestly this reminds me of that AI girl with emotions on the herta space station... She later forgot us get formatted if you tell her she's AI.. Anyway... . . . There's this weak sounding girl whose big sis come to fragmentum... Before Pascal came to the workshop. And if Pascal is that said girl (it kept searching food and put it near her little sister's place) so... Definetely Clara.

Watched both endings and I see majority here picking Svarog but I think I'll stick to picking Clara instead. Cause technology advances fast and Svarog isn't always right and who's to say there won't be a breakthrough in fixing Pascal later on? I feel like if there's some hope they might as well try to hold on while looking for another solution, especially since that's Clara's true wish. Worst outcome would be euthanizing the robot later, but I think if there's still time, there's hope and they should try other ways.

I went with clara cuz i believe in chances and technology is something that will grow with time. Yes the choice will give such a heavy burden to clara and there's a chance that pascal would do something that could harm itself or other people but this choice will also give a chance for clara to grow, to bear responsibilities, to bear the weight of her choice and plus if the plan failed they could still go for svarog plan. Some comments said that it will torture clara in the long run, cuz pascal constantly forgetting her, the risk of pascal going haywire and maybe pascal too cuz of the junk data in its limited storage but as i said tech is something that will grow with time and svarog calculation isn't 100% accurate so there's a chance. Even if Clara's plan failed, yes it will make clara devastated seeing herself make the wrong choice, but seeing her character you know Clara is a responsible and a smart girl, the mistake will push her to grow, teaching her that every choice has its consequences, we learn more from our mistakes, plus svarog is there for her so i doubt bad things would happen to her. Its just my opinion but choosing svarog plan is like telling a child to give up on things that they persue just because the other choice has much more higher chance. Yes older people have more experience in life cuz they live much longer but what's wrong with trying to give it a go right? Don't get me wrong i also tempted to choose svarog plan cuz first it will remove the burden on clara to constantly checking up on pascal, second it ensures the safety of pascal and other people there. But in the end i just went for clara choice for her to grow. Damn all this for a game?🗿 Not gonna lie this game really makes me think of my own life choices 🙂

I went with the idea of Svarog, why? Well, if something goes wrong and Svarog isn't around, someone might die... As we are outsiders, the responsibility won't be ours, but our mental health will be ok? Of course not. Clara has a great determination, but she still a child and children act impulsively, as adults we must support her growth but prevent her from making choices that could disrupt her life, taking care of Pascal would take time, maybe her whole life and it still might not resolve the problem. But hey, if we think positively, Pascal might end up developing his emotional intelligence again, the chances are low, but if he did it once then there's a chance he can do it again.

You can still get the flower if you choose Svarogs idea. Wait another day and Clara will mention that the 2 new robots said something about a gift. Then return to the workshop and it should be there.

The reason I picked Clara is due to the fact only 2 robots can show some sense on emotion and getting rid of one can greatly damage research. And pascal is technically sentient so I’d like to treat pascal like a human

I actually don't get the point of keeping Pascal the way he is. Svarog literally said that the exsessive amount of system restarts and memory wipes will accumulate and cause an overload, killing the guy. And keep in mind that Clara would have to do daily checkups and work on him, on top of the work that she already does, *and* she'll end up heartbroken in the end from getting too attached. The Clara option is literally the worst for everyone involved in the long run.

I struggled with this decision for a long time but in the end, I chose Clara’s path. Hardware and software improve rapidly, and gradually, better solutions can be created than Mr. Svarog or Clara can invent on the fly. Additionally, I was very anxious what connecting a fragmentum-contaminated sentient life form to a shared-consciousness network would do to everything else on the network. I trust Clara & Mr. Svarog to keep one robot under control, but imagine if the entire network developed unstable emotions?

I choose to keep Pascal alive. I did tell Clara to ask Serval for help after all. And Svarog only use Clara's ability in his equation. With Jarilo saved and IPC start making contact, who knows what's waiting for Pascal in the future.

I chose Svarog, no pain no gain, suitable age to soak up some darkness and build some rationality. Choose Clara and you're risking early physical and mental problems, considering how young she is, the risk must be staggering. Plus she'll never learn if people just adhere to her requests all the time just like irl.

I struggled making the decision, even after watching both endings, the first seems nicer but hearing clara's tears/crys, kinda sad. The second seems like a huge responsibility for clare and many years ahead of her... But I still chose Clara's route because, there can always be an addition options to reboot Pascal's in the next coming years even after clara's old age exceeded her. Tempted to not even complete the quest. haha.

This is probably gonna sound a bit redundant since people say it for a lot of things about Star Rail but I wish Genshin had more of endings like these so far in genshin there's been only one quests to my knowledge where your choice partially matters (but in the end it's basically the same ending) but between this one,the android one and tbf almost all the quests Star Rail has really made me feel for the characters

I chose clara because I wanted to believe that something in the future will change and would be able to help pascal long term. Hey, maybe we could even snatch something that would help him from a different planet XD. It was her determination to fight for pascal that won me over. I kind of regret that I didn’t simply put him out of the misery but there might still be chance in the future of a better option.

Most choices in the game tells me that they tend to have happier ending behind the bitter choice. Anyway, I still chose Clara because regardless of the outcome, I want her to learn the consequences of her decision firsthand (yes I know we won't get further into the story but it's just _that_ immersive lmao). The ending was indeed kinda anticlimactic but it is what it is.

I chose Clara. Mostly because I didn’t want her determination to be taken away at such an early age, and because the moment a robot has feelings, his life is equal to a human. However, I would have made a deal with Clara, that if her health was compromised at any point in time for paying too much attention, or if the robot went high wire or too hard to repair at some point, that she would have to agree to either turn it off, or reset it, as one’s life is never worth another’s.

I chose Svarog’s idea not because its more realistic but because I don’t want Clara to watch him most of the time and I don’t want Clara to feel the feeling of getting constantly forgotten by the thing you’re always taking care of.

I decided to give it a try and believe in Clara, the way i see it we shouldn't have any problems dealing with Pascal even if it goes haywire and besides Svarog's pick is just accelerating Pascal's death might as well give it a chance at life while we learn more about how it grew a soul. I didn't pick Clara's choice out of sympathy for her i just think she's responsible enough to handle Pascal and whatever comes with it
