This reminds me of material I have used in the past. I too have used graphite but a bit differently. I had it over the entire surface and use my eraser to sculpt out the form. I am impressed that you just used it on the figure. I may have to give your method a try. I also like how you get the figure block down so quick. I will need to up my speed.

I just bought some graphite powder and block today, can't wait to play with it tomorrow! Great to see a tutorial on it. I totally agree, the messier and more dangerous, the more fun 😂 I'd love to spray a graffiti some time, but it'll be so bad for my lungs 😁🙈

your freehand technic is perfect the motion when you tilt your wrist with graphic bullet(is it?) showing some good accuracy in the drawing thanks for sharing knowledge prof :)

would you erase all of the marks around the figure of the last piece, or you would leave it there as a part of the piece.

I think however you want to do it! Sometimes I like leaving the marks there, feels “too clean” at times to get rid of them. -Prof Lieu
