Clarence Milton Bekker - Try a Little Tenderness (Strijders voor de Liefde on Stage)

Op 2 augustus 2013 vond het allereerste mensenrechtenconcert Strijders voor de Liefde on Stage plaats tijdens de Amsterdam Gay Pride.
Clarence Milton Bekker (bekend als CB Milton) zong o.a. "Try a Litle Tenderness", met begeleiding van het New Amsterdam Orchestra onder leiding van Stephan Geusebroek en Adlicious.

Op het Rembrandtplein werden Strijders voor de Liefde toegezongen door een keur aan artiesten, als Do, Tara McDonald, Charly Luske, Clarence Bekker Milton, Raffaëla Paton, Sharon Doorson, Sjors van der Panne, Handsome Poets, Ricardo 'Phatt' Burgrust en Adlicious.
De Strijders voor de Liefde kregen deze hommage om hun strijd luister bij te zetten. Ze kwamen deze avond uit Oeganda, Rusland, Oekraïne en IJlst in Friesland.
Strijders voor de Liefde on Stage komt ten bate van het Pride Fonds, dat steun geeft aan lesbiennes, homo`s, biseksuelen en transgender (LHBT`s) activisten in nood. Door LOVE te sms`en naar 4333* wordt drie euro gedoneerd aan het Pride Fonds. (* Jouw gift is eenmalig. Je ontvangt direct een bedankberichtje. En wij houden je op de hoogte van het Pride Fonds.)
Strijders voor de Liefde On Stage wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door Stichting PRO Gay, Amnesty International, COC Nederland, Vrouwen van Nu, I amsterdam, Het Blauwe Fonds, Remonstranten, SJB Media BV, Dijkwerk, United, RTL4, Ampco Flashlight, Pride Photo Award, ABC Legal, Notea, Marriott Amsterdam, Pride Fonds, Studio Stroop, NH Hoteles, Dutch Dance Agency, Barefoot Wine, PWC, Mr. Goodybag, Egripment, Pon Dealer Groep, Eetsalon van Dobben, American Express, Highlow Communications.

Clarence should be far more well known (in the commercial world) than he seems to be. Other than us PFC fans, why hasn't the rest of the Universe fallen in love with him as we have? He's SO good!
