I worry you just put a target on your back. It should not be that way, but after they got up and left the conversation accusing you of veiled threats... Where was the veil? In this country, we are supposed to have the right to defend ourselves from all unlawful attacks. Unfortunately, law enforcement believes that because they are doing something that makes it lawful. Further, the little training they get is that their safety is more important than upholding any law, or any other human's life, including children. They believe all non-cops are the enemy and often shoot first ask questions later, maybe. Ladt, most of them are completely unable to conduct an actual investigation, control theur emotions, behave with compassion, realize or stop when they realize they are doing the wrong thing, or understand/know the laws they are supposed to be enforcing. Be careful, though, cops just following you is not a threat.
