Bernard King, if he had better health and better teammates, would be talked about a lot more today. and Marques Johnson - briefly mentioned - also had serious game! Oh, and Clark Kellogg was very, very good.

Bernard King was very good in NBA & N.Y.Knickerbockers in that time period. B.KING was over shadowed by Bird, Magic J. Alex English, Kiki Vandaway Micheal Cooper. (Lou Al Sinder A. J.). LA.LAKERS, BOSTON CELTICS Philly 76ers players stole the show & spotlight Moses Malone, Dr.J.

I first saw Clark Kellogg play in March of 1979 at the Ohio high school boys' state basketball championship. Kellogg had 51 points and 24 rebounds in the AAA championship game in the greatest single performance I have ever seen in person. Unfortunately, none of Kellogg's teammates could buy a bucket. It was clear that at halftime, Kellogg's coach told the other players just to get the ball into Kellogg's hands in the second half. They did, but Kellogg's team, Cleveland St. Joseph, LOST to Columbus East and his eventual teammate at Ohio State and the Indiana Pacers, Granville Waiters. I was amazed at Clark Kellogg's performance and have been a fan ever since. He's a pretty good broadcaster too. Interestingly, before that championship game, while waiting to get into the arena, I heard some St. Joe's fans commenting that Granville Waiters looked like a 40 year old man. Haha. He actually did.
