Lex Luthor was such a fool for choosing to waste his time going after *Superman & Lois* as soon as he was released from prison, which is understandable I get it but still he could’ve at least TRIED to make peace with it along the way before it was too late after his reunion and meeting with his daughter along the way for her and his grandson sake but instead he chose the wrong path and ended up were he started with no going back this time.

The most satisfying thing is his fate is even worse than it was last time he was in prison. After sacrificing everything to get his revenge, he ended up in a worse position than before. That's not how the creators wrote it. It was just truth and justice. Read the very original superman comics, The creators were terrified of the american way.
@spencergsmith17 күн бұрын
@@Ash-Winchester while the terms “truth” and “justice” were both used by Superman frequently in his early stories, the actual phrase “truth, justice, and the American Way” was used in the Superman radio series as early as 1942, and was then shortened to “truth and justice” in the Fleischer short films soon after this. So while the terms “truth” and “justice” DID precede “the American Way” the complete phrase of “truth, justice, and the American Way” was used before it was shortened.

@@spencergsmith It may have been used in the radio series, but not the original comics. Having superman stand for the american way goes against the very idea of superman. Superman wants to help people, regardless of what country they came from, and superman spent his first appearances fighting against the american way. Luthor is the one who embodies the american way, not superman.
