What's interesting the actor who played the older vampire brother actually played a younger character on the show. Lucas was like my age since he was 18 in season 2 and I turned 18 during season 2. Think he's the only character on this show that was actually in my grade. I was a grade behind with new and a grade ahead Lios.

Prodigal is actually an underrated episode IMO. Paul Wesley is great as Lucas and it offers good backstory into Lex and Lionel too. Plus, I like that you get to see Clark lose his cool in this scene where his ego gets the best of him. Usually he's got really good emotional control when he's not on Red K. Pete's funny in this scene too. LOL

Its shown through out season 2-3 that Lex is slowly doing more shady stuff like inhuman experiments and he becomes more and more obsessed with Clark trying to find out what going on with him. Lets not forget his upbring bij his Father which adds to his hatred of Lionel. All these events and decisions eventually accumulate into him killing his father and becoming evil.

What I always enjoyed about this scene is that we never really got to see the reason why Clark never played sports. Like it was talked about, and they tell us it's because he's afraid of hurting the other kids, and as fans we are made to be aware of the reason, but it's just nice seeing a clip of what could happen if someone tried to play against him like that. At least in the early stages before he played football and had a better handle on his powers, it was cool seeing what would happen. Made sense right? lol.
