Even if you don't want to spread "hate," you can simply ignore it when other people do it. Making a trash joke about it seems like you take things lightly, but it is not a good decision to take. Oj joking on a video, which he clearly REFUSES to make is not a just not right.

I think saying OJ needs to be serious is a bit unfair. Every clash youtuber under the sun has made videos about the state of the game, you ken brad even people like SK talk about it. Its not like hes completely silent on issues he constantly jokes about bad deals, greed and how supercell acts, even shames them a bit especially in his reddit videos. and i see people saying he glazes supercell which is hilarious but untrue. IDK i agree with what you said in this video but calling him out over some jokes in a pretty dark time in clash history to me seems unnecessary. also watching a extremely popular video in this community isnt him trying to get into the negativity, its just him watching a video that is relevant to the discussion of the state of clash.

I've gotten a whole ass Book of Books from the lucky drops AND a free level 15 card. none of this would've happened if Supercell didn't end up deciding to try and make up for some of what they did. The irony of B-rad saying that the end of FullTilt's video was "all [he needs] to know about [them]" is that FullTilt have been very critical of Supercell in the past and did not hesitate to chew them out for their mistakes, and this is part of a very small handful of times they supported Supercell's decision. I'm still hesitant to take a stance but that really threw me off because that shows a very rigid and stubborn side to B-rad.

Personally I like watching full tilts videos and I watched his one in response to B-Rad, I love both of them. I felt as thought full tilt just wanted to say “hey I enjoyed the update, Ik most didn’t but I did” and that was a main point. He’s been hyper critical of Supercell in the past so it’s not like he has any stake (doesn’t have a code either). As for B-Rad I understand why’s he upset, I get he wants to get that word out and spread what Supercell has/hasn’t been doing. I always just played CR as a game and didn’t play super competitively because it’s a game. Life is much more then worrying about a game that can go away in a moment. People are really ringing the doomsday bell on supercell. But like. It's not their first rodeo with bad updates. Let's just say that from CR point of view it has been bad updates on bad updates. But past some awful progression like Evo shards. The game is more fun now and the rest of the progression is faster. And I guess the pro side is left down. But that less the case in other supercell games. Brawlstar had it's fair share of bad updates. And some that whernt targeted at hardcore audiences. And they all ended up good for new and casual players. While barely hitting veteran and pros. The equivalent of Evo are much more balancable. And content keep flowing and still is the most free to play game. But brawlstar really innovated on how spuercel make updates. Adding new core mechanics. Coc did it a bit. But siège machines and super troops are not so different from additional troops. While gadjet, gears, and hyper charges were very différents. Since gear rework and hyper charges release. Othe supercell games have followed in their tracks. With Evo, and équipements. Updates entirely focusing on casuals feels and not on actual progression. Where you wouldn't go faster but it would feel better for casuals. Brawlstar starr drops. Then the new event shop got released. Coc started decreasing costs, gave us new builders and boost options, new shops and free events. Constant content updates. Brawl_stars get a new brawler every month. And 15 skins a mo'th. Plus new game modes all the time. CR started adding more cards, multiple Evo a season. Coc has events with équipements, more skins, more updates (on th a year instead of one every 18 month). Its crazy how they all took inspiration from BS. But CR took all the hits considering their bad management, bad luck, and awfully balanced release. If you look at the updates, they're all very good. Events are now much easier to complete. You can still earn bragging rights with actual old events with exclusive cosmetics. The shop has more options and you can get what you want. BP progression is generalized to the whole game. More gold, more cards in chests, more magic items. New tasks let you earn new things. Not just consistent reward. But actual big drops that would be impossible to get for free normaly. New battle mechanics. Champions are honestly balanced now. Evo balance will improve as more Evo and Evo slots are released. Since more variety mean more counter. And less emphasis on spamming onz Evo. And more on always having an Evo ready. (it's just that Evo are broke by themselves. But that's not a system issue. It's balancable). More cards finally. Tower troops. That arnt that unbalanced after playing a lot against different ones. New campaigns. And even level 15 isn't so bad. Like I wouldn't have added it in the first place. But I'm really enjoying having much easier access to level 14 cards. Having all my decks one level away from max and being able to decently play with them. Instead of one level 14 deck and 1 level 12 deck. While being able to geing for level 15. (even if it should have been level 14 instead). Etc. Like the only thing missing is veteran love. And actual good balance. Coc. Same thing équipement are broken. But they started experimenting with war settings. The issue with équipements. Is that before. Heroes where just heroes. They had their ability and that was it. So defence was build around thoses. And heroes where balanced around those defence made against them. Now that they can choose what ability they have. They can bypass tjoses defence. And chose an ability that work better against them. That being said. Instead of rewarding the player for the right choice with a balance hero that doesn't loose against the defence. You get a hero, that instead of just winning against that village, you just destroy it for making the right choice. New équipements are as strong as old ones. But since you can't counter every équipement like you could counter ever hero ability before. You end up being able to use heroes as powerful as before. But on villages that arnt made to defend them unlike before. That is easly fixable. By nerfing heroes. But instead they buffed the village. When creating a friendly war. They can enable a village buff. That tournament will use. Tho way you will need to find the right equipments to win. Instead of choosing the right one to win but even more. This still let causal have the stronger version tho. And while I won't list every coc good updates like I did with CR. Let's say that their path are very similar. But without past CR stigma and controversies. And honestly better solutions like this one. Coc found a way to make causal have their easier more enjoyable game. While pro can have the harder more balanced version. CR need to find a way to do this as well. It's vital for the survival of the game. Th game is in a great casual position right now. Much better than peaopl give it credit for. But the pro and veteran are not happy. And outside of monetosario it's really the only issue I find with the game rn.

As someone who has never spent a dime on any supercell product I feel that the hate the game is getting is a bit extreme. Even tho there are bad parts of some of the resent updates, like the removal of wild cards from the season shop, the new cards, lucky drops, and free shard events are great additions to the game that are, for some reason, getting lumped in with all the negatives that the game has right now. Clash royale isn't in the best state right now but it's not a complete lost cause like everyone is saying. people in this community are so negative.

As a completely F2P player since 2017 and playing with over 6 accounts until 2022, trying to go for max level 13, I just gave up when the level 14 thing came up and then they changed it to bigger numbers. It was just impossible as an F2P player to do it. Seeing everyone complain about similar things 2 years laters relieves me 😂

Honestly Orange Juice's perspective on the game is super insightful. I dont think Clash Royale is ever going to be as competitive as it was and Im not gonna lie, it feels to me like there's a lot of copium being huffed if you think it might. I get that this is one of y'all's favorite games, but there's a point where you gotta realize what direction a game and its developers are going in. For me it was Overwatch and Call of Duty, and the best thing you can do is try to adapt and find the fun in the new versions and updates of these games, or find something else to fill that void. I think OJ has done this to great success as evidenced by his channel

It really goes down to whether creators NEED to be the spokespeople of the community or support. If OJ makes a joke in a youtube comment, yeah it's a big channel but at the end of the day it's a youtube comment on a youtube video, and it can be whatever he wants. Essentially, the community is like "stay out of it, or if you want to involve just support us". But like Boss said and the other comment showed, OJ simply doesn't care. "If OJ at all cares about the the game..." - He doesn't lol. He made a joke, let him cook, it's not his responsibility to use his platform in a certain way, or not use it at all. So there is no "appropriate" or "inappropriate" time for him to make a joke or not make a joke, he's just gonna do it. Do I agree with it? No. But I have no right to complain, it's his youtube channel and he can comment what he wants, no matter how insensitive it is. He's not harassing anyone, or attacking anyone, so I don't think anyone should be pointing fingers at him for making a joke about it. If you don't like him making a joke out of it... well... I guess stop watching him?

I was pretty upset at B-rad for fultilt. As someone who was supposed to “call out” supercell he didnt have to be as passive agressive as he did.
