​@@Uncharted8907 Actually not quite, I made it to top 10k 3 months before retiring, plus 3 times 11-win GC (no GC 12-win overall, sadly), 4 x CC 12-wins; also made it to 6600 (Royal Champion then) before the entire LLeague got to 5k from 4k. I was destroyed a lot before you could even know but the reason I deleted CR was that it became stale for way too long, even before CW2. If you ever had the chance to look at CR during 2019-2020, you'll see why it sucked back then, especially for someone sitting on an account with around 30 maxed cards or so (having played since the global release). Now I'm spending most of my time going against top 2k ladder in Clash of Clans instead.

He'll get there. Been following a God Of War KZbinr, ExtremeGameplays, since he was 800 subs. Now 12k bordering on 13k in less than 4 months, with huge respect from major Tubers and members of the community. But I think a come up like that is nigh impossible in the current CRL climate with just how many people make dedicated content on this game, in comparison to GOW. But it might happen, I have faith in him from the 3 wonderful videos he's made so far, and the response otherwise from sub count ain't bad either.

Honestly, this one really surprised me. As the witch always has been one of my top go to cards for all of my decks just like the Valkyrie and the musketeer. To the point where I considered the witch to be one of the best cards in the entire game period. I'd always use her and she would often be my win con or most valued counter unit so I'm baffled by the fact that she's regarded as this bad.

Witch has been my most consistently used card. I've had many decks that synergize with her, but ever since I started playing in 2016 she had a spot in my deck. I stopped playing in 2020 cus reasons, so I can't say how good she is nowadays, but back in the day it took a lot to make her viable, but she'd absolutely carry her weight

Ive been playing witch for years. Shes has been in my deck more than any other card. In higher tiers since she was never there people sometimes didnt know how to handle her. In midladder shes just a pain. Honestly she really only needs that health buff, too squishy for her price.

I remember downloading the game the day it became globally released and getting the Witch as my first ever epic card. She has a special place for me because she was my most used card for a whole year. My friend got Skarmy as his first epic, so I always felt superior to him when I could destroy it so easily with my Witch. He also eventually got Witch (obviously) but I was at a much higher level so I still felt that superiority lol. It's sad to see how poorly it performs at high competitive levels and isn't used at all. I've not played the game for years and missed the time when she was at her peak, but I still used her a lot and was one of my favorite cards.

i think that the witch is a very good card. i dont understand why people prefer the wizard over her when the wizard dies from a fireball and doesnt spawn skellys. i use her as my main defending troop along w the valk and the does splash damage and distracts so well mega knights, princes and any mele ground troop in general. i think that her skeleton spawning mechanic is really unique and people should use her more she is very good.

The problem with midladder is whatever you do to Witch, it will still be in there. Because people aren’t fully maxed and keep playing the same decks they always use. They can’t swap cards too much, especially when the other witches are legendaries. They should really put a cap on card levels in midladder… but not having one is also THE reason they make so much money. Balance changes will still have _some_ effects though, because some people have more maxed cards and will happily switch to a currently broken deck. Pair that with KZbinrs sharing meta decks and some people will follow the top ladder meta. Sometimes accepting to play non-maxed cards for the sake of playing that deck… and eventually getting frustrated by losing with their skillful underleveled deck against a carefully crafted MATCHMAKING to a no skill overleveled midladder menace deck. Looking at you, algorithm! The only reasonable things people would then do are: - Go back to a midladder menace deck themselves - Quit the game - Pay Getting actually good was never an option!

Honestly, I feel that sometimes they're too afraid to change elixir values. I see two interesting "buff" paths for her. You could let her be countered by spells, since her kit seems good to be tuned to counter troops, with the constant spawning of skeletons serving as distraction, and reduce her cost. Which lowers your commitment when playing her, allows you to have her up more reliably against counterpush situations, after you've spent significant elixir on your push, and also enables her to possibly outcycle her answers. Sure a fireball + 2-cost could kill her, or a lightning as it is commonly used nowadays, but not only it might not be worth the elixir trade, the lower commitment wouldn't require your deck to really "play for her", possibly allowing her to be played as a sacrifice in some situations, or just in what would be a worse positioning overall by today's standards. There are a lot of cards that can escape a countering spell if you can make sure your opponent cannot hit both the card and the tower, simply by making the trade not worth it anymore. That being said, as much as it seems great mechanical and balance-wise, I personally would not enjoy this path because of two factors that play very big roles into the Witch's design, in my opinion: -First, she would end up being even closer to a walking graveyard, altough that could be worked on afterwards, and I believe it would be possible to find a good spot for her; -And last, but much more important, the decrease in power she'd have to face even with just a single less elixir cost would be severely detrimental to her identity. They just wouldn't be able to keep her powerful necromancer fantasy at less than 5 elixir, unless she was insanely broken, or remade into a legendary card with a very unique addition to her hit, like still being able to function for some seconds after death in some special way or something, and as much as I'd really love if Supercell were to try these kinds of things out, and it would even keep her consistent with the rarity of the other witches, I highly doubt they'd ever do something like that. Now, after all that talk about elixir cost, power fantasy and everything, there comes the second path, which is... well, the exact opposite, and the one I think would fit well not only with the balancing of the game, but also with the fantasy that I believe both Supercell and the fanbase have of her. Basically increase her cost and fortify her as a whole, as of right now I don't feel like her mechanics don't work, she just never gets a chance to use them, because not only she's countered by some AoE cards that can easily deal with her and the skeletons at the same time, but mostly she's barely ever alive to even have a chance, really. Every single small spell takes away all her skeletons and makes her vulnerable, while the others just straight up kill her. Only issue is that some changes could obviously make a 6 or higher cost Witch an absolute menace in mid latter, but I'd argue she already has enough counters in there to hold her back, such as valkyrie or mega knight, both of which are VERY common in there. In my opinion, I just think that having her at 5 cost really doesn't work for her, as it neither allows her to live her fantasy to the fullest without being too strong for her cost, nor let's the player have any versatility with her playstyle, as it's always too big of a commitment that rarely pays off by various reasons. Not only her elixir cost alone is high enough that you can't really cycle well with her, but she also demands other cards to play around her. Even when playing against counters where she gets to defend without being touched, her solo counterpush barely needs to be addressed, and that just puts a bit more of an "elixir tax" that you gotta pay everytime you play her, only for her to be one-shot by a big spell or rendered almost useless by anything that can deal either with her skeletons or herself, if not both. So my conclusion is that, with the way she is nowadays, you can never really find the right spot for her at 5 elixir, because you just can't properly address the ammount of commitment she requires; I believe they'd have to either aknowledge this commitment, or try to somehow make her more versatile, be it with different buff approaches or a creative rework. And honestly, I like her concept a lot, and I really tried to make her work when I was still a newbie, so I'd be down for either solution, or even a mixture of both of them, falling somewhere in the middle.

I was playing Witch in Spell Valley during the silent removal (when she didn’t do splash damage) and somehow I STILL ended up performing well even with the extreme nerf to her. Idk if it was luck or people in SV sucking but I stuck with her all the way to Legendary Arena at 4600 trophies (old challenger 3). Now I have a maxed Witch that I don’t use anymore, nice.

Damn, a lot has passed in the game. I played the game since 2016-2018 and I invested into the witch more than any other card, more than my win conditions as my main playstyle was to win by counterattack using the witch to get elixir advantage. And I agree that the mid ladder is where the witch was strong, but even on low ladder where many win conditions could be killed by her(I'm talking about the time when prince and knight were the main cards in lower arenas and legendaries were available higher up). I planned to make a return in ~2020 but quit after finding out they took out draws which were my only chance against players with +3 tower levels. The witch also felt exceptionally weak so I gave up on her after a few tries, but touchdown was fun. It seemed to that the witch got bad because there are too many splash damage cards or spawn cards which make witch not viable. Spawn cards deal with the main target of the witch effectively - mainly knights, mini pekkas, etc. and the splash damage cards deal with goblins and minions more cost effectively than the witch. touchdown was fun.

I feel like it is better to go the opposite route with her. Bringing her more in line with the Magic Archer and Ice Wizard. Making her a Fireball-Bait card, along with a decrease to 4 Elixir. While a Fireball would outright destroy her, using Fireball on her would be a dilemma as it could enable other similar cards to be used unharmed.

Her and Night Witch were annoying, but they deserve better I loved the big rework honestly, I wished they didn’t massively nerf it. Make her 4 elixir, give her the mother witch treatment and make her die to fireball. Then rework her so that every time she hits a troop with her blast 2-3 skeletons spawn. She's not a walking spawner, she's something that is great for defense. She'd be great for counter pushing and would be a massive threat while also not being something that breaks meta.

Having used witch in nearly every meta described in this video, I agree that she needs more health, but whatever they do, they can't remove her splash. I remember back when she had little and no splash damage, and that really made it hard for me to use her, despite the massive damage increase. The role witch filled in my deck was a support for my Golem, keeping swarmies off and providing extra dps through the provided skeletons, as well as a defensive piece to hold back princes and PEKKA. Having single target completely destroyed that deck and made me have to shake things up quite a bit.

I mean I’ve been a witch main player since the game had its public release and up until now, I wouldn’t mind her just getting a 6 sec spawn rate but aside from that just a little buff for her health to at least survive a fireball and zap, I say she’s good

Man, I remember using Witch in my Arena 1 deck that carried me all the way to... I think Royal Arena? Arena 7? I think it was the second or third highest arena at that time.
