Wouldn’t computer cabling fall under the same rules as telephone wiring. It was always the rules we had used, not sure where it is in the code, we were just running cat 6 wiring.

Hello, Question. It is my understanding that when running a low voltage wire (for an LED lets say), you must use the same guidelines as in section 300 and 400. So if you splice two Low voltage cables together (connect, say an LED strip to a supply cable).....that connection should be accessible and in a proper junction box or enclosure. Correct?

I am not really bothered by the alternative wording but I can see why people get worked up about it. Clarity of exposition is important without adding to confusion.
