It felt good to hit the rocks on a cold day in June! Great to get the hardbody Toyota out into nature finally.

Holy crap. He actually uses his trucks from time to time. I just thought he builds them, puts them on a shelf, and waits for someone to buy them. Also the 1 silver screw in the wheel is very Formula D. They require have an identifying mark on the wheels to see when they lock up the wheels.

I love that you made your wife your mule. lol Although, the Carry-All RC backpacks are so comfortable and distribute the weight so well, that you can't even really tell you're carrying a truck. I figured you turned your radio off and that's why it was beeping. lol Darn data logging! Ha!

Since you sold the Woodsrunner, I’d like to see a new one utilizing a Vanquish body for the panels. It would be fitting seeing as how the 1:1 Woodsrunner is a Scout.

I always said that I would live in California..... If it WASN'T in California!!! 😖😜 Actually did live there until 1981 - but it was mainly on Air Force Bases. I was 17 in 81. Told that the whole State isn't remotely the same since then, and we got out in the nick of time! Is pretty though.

Yeah what a awesome place for crawling.!! Sweet looking class one truck, but the pro is my favorite !! Just got to of my friends to buy the pro. They've been watching me for months driving mine, they were really in press, getting where I do need another body though !! Thousands of scratches everywhere, that don't bother me, but I do have one crack at the drivers side round the Head light. But going to take me a little while since I just got back to work . Appreciate you sharing Josh. Really love the roll bar on the pro. I'll be watching for more.

Videos like this you did last July are the reason I bought a Pro. Nice! Question: how/when do you use the neutral rear in the dig function? Just got mine and I'm learning it.
@HarleyDesignsInc
@HarleyDesignsInc 4 жыл бұрын
It is hard to explain the best times to use it, but it’s something I’ve found useful in certain climbs or off camber turns where I don’t want the rear tires to wash out. When I’m driving and filming I only drive one handed so I use a 2 position switch for the dig as it is much easier to do one-handed.

I would have still paid it, trying to work a deal out I usually start low and work from there. I knew $1200 was just a starting point and go from there. I will buy one of your rigs. Your builds are always so capable and class 1 is beautifully scaled.

The trucks look great. I am curious though the cage work on the VS10 pro seems like it would scale up to about inch and a quarter to being which seems very thin, not thin but the OD would seem a bit small when scaled up. But your trucks always perform well and look good Bud
@HarleyDesignsInc
@HarleyDesignsInc 4 жыл бұрын
It’s 3/16” DOM for the main portions, which would scale to about 1-3/4” at 1:9 scale. The small braces are 1/8” which would be about 1-1/8”.
@ruftime
@ruftime 4 жыл бұрын
Todd, we have to work with the raw materials sizes we have......I wouldn’t obsess about that...... “scale” is mostly in the eye of the owner/critic or the SORRCA rule book. Ultimately it’s just fun😎

Most of that was just walking and driving, I didn’t really try too many lines multiple times. I’m pretty familiar with how these trucks drive so my confidence in them is usually high. But I drive one handed and film with the other so it’s always a bit tricky.
