at 29:54 I think you need to take the friction coefficient between 10kg block and ground as 0 instead of 0.1 as you havent considered that in the question. Anyways awesome explanation sir, I love watching your videos👍

Shubham Singh i think the value of f(max) between the 10kg block and the ground is 15 N and that between 5kg and 10kg block is 10N so the 10kg block is not going to move anyway.. correct me if I'm wrong

For everyone who got confused in 28:08 question Sir made a mistake instead of writing 0 sir wrote 0.1 so fmax wouldn't change as when he made the 10kg fbd he considered friction of 10kg be 0 So don't get confused

28:08 In this case if we take 2nd μ=0.1 The 10kg mass does not move because it kinetic friction of above is less than limiting friction of 10kg mass. So the accn of 10kg is 0 And of 5kg relative to 10kg is 8ms-².

At 29:54 if lower block haa u =o.1 than fmax changes and it comes out to be 12.5 ,and still f>fmax therefore both blocks move with different acclerations of 8 and 1m/S2 .and friction =kinetic friction .at last f' limiting on lower block when force is on the upper block will act in opposite to the direction of f'limiting on 2nd means here 10kg block .thnku

Let me clear the confusion at 28:00 problem just to help people as I was also confused at the starting Look value of limiting friction on 10 kg block due to 5 kg block is given by u N = 0.2 * 5 * 10 = 10 N. Now limiting friction on 10 kg block due to ground is : u N = 0.1 * (10+5) * 10 = 15 N Now closely analyse the system and see that friction due to ground is higher than friction due to 5 kg block . thus the 10 kg block wouldn't move at all, at any force applied on 5 kg block. Hence 10 kg would remain at rest and acceleration of 10 kg block would be 0. Now to find acceleration of 5 kg block make FBD. On making FBD we get friction force backward as 10 N and applied force forward as 50 N Thus net force in forward direction becomes 40N and a=f/m thus a=40/5 = 8m/s^2

At 50:35 , friction between 10 kg block and ground will be kinetic friction and not limiting friction as the 10 kg block is in relative motion with the ground.

At 32:35 there is friction between the block and the ground also ..so the net force on the 10kg block is 15-10=5 and the acceleration =.5 Yr explanation is so awesome that some small mistakes can be ignored

Sir at 28:00 min as you have taken coefficient of friction between 10 kg and ground 0.1 but while solving question you missed it. I think that the 10 kg mass will not move as 10 N is being applied by 5 kg and 15 N is limiting friction value so the 10 Kg box will not move.

sir, in 27:01 , by calculation the value of f comes 6.6 N (when we substitute the value of a). But you said that static friction is equal to the applied force until it reaches limiting friction. In this case limiting friction is 10 N, also the applied force is 10 N, then why f is not equal to 10 N, which is the applied force ? Also if we assume that f is smaller than 10 N, then there must be another force in the opposite direction of 10 N, which will decrease the net applied force and make it equal to f. Then which is this hidden force ? I think the hidden force is the pseudo force 5a in the opposite direction of 10 N, is this correct ?

Sir i think u are wrong at 31:09 because 10kg block also has their own coefficient of force of friction i.e., 0.1 so the acceleration of 10kg block should be 0 as the friction force applied by 5kg block on 10kg is equal to its own friction force so , they will cancel each other . 31:10 the block will not move bcoz it's F limiting = 15N and applied force is 10N ( by the above block ) since Flimiting > F applied therefore the block will remain at rest

Sir 50:31 me 10 kg block or surface ke beech limiting friction kaise lagega kyunki 10 kg wala block to surface ke respect me chal raha hai to friction to kinetic hona chahiye agar 10 kg wale block par 15N ki force lag rahi hogi to peeche ki taraf limiting lagega 🧐 lekin answer ek hi aya kyunki "u" Ki value same thi agar friction limiting lagega to please reply karke explain kar dena

U are absolutely correct, sir ne galthi se bola hoga , actually kinetic friction hei lekin yaha par kinetic friction ki value nahi di hei isliye limiting friction ka hi 'mue' lena hei.

Nobody can teach better than him. I had the same opinion about my faculty at aakash but PW sir proved me wrong. The faculty is still amazing but he doesn't go in depth he assumes student already know each little things..

Sir, u had made a mistake at 31:00 that , u forget to consider the coefficient of friction between surface and 10kg Block i.e u=0.1 and ans come acceleration= 1m/s² but If consider then ans will come 10 - 15 / 10 i.e -0.5 m/s²
