Computer is an electronic programmable device which inputs the raw data, Processes it with logical and mathematical calculations and operations to derive reliable output results for the user. Computer in literal terms derived from latin word 'COMPUTARE' which means to calculate. Computer was inveted by Charles Babage in 1837, as it was know to be analytical engine computer at that time. Characterstics of the computers: 1)Stores the Data. 2)Computes or proccess the input data and delievers the results in the form of Output. 3)Works at tremendous speed. 4)Highly consistable and reliable.
